One thing that has helped me some against both paradox and gemini is to play an unprotected 7/1 golem if they start to get dangerous creatures on their side (10 att+ for paradox or momentum'd anything for gemini). They often will spam all their TU's on your 7/1 destroyer instead of their own because if its ability, even though they cant use it.
i have to disagree with you here Nume
i find that leaving an unquinted, ungrowthed golem is about as good as fractalling firemasters vs Graviton (meaning not good at all)
Gemini has a pattern that it follows
to put simply,
- it will put out a few momentum the first couple of turns
- it will put up phase shield chain pending threats on your side (high atk critter or >2 critters)
- it will momentumed and TU'd dragon/recluse if either one of you is below certain HP limit or when it has reached a number of Unstoppables/TUs in its hand (i'm not sure about the math but you will notice similar pattern with Elidnis and Paradox)

putting up an unprotected golem will break this pattern and WILL attract TU from his side
so instead of being safe for another couple of turns (because the last part of the pattern is when they move in to alpha strike you), you will suddenly face half a dozen momentumed 8/2 golems out of nowhere if you try this trick so my advice is, dont try it

I forgot to mention I generally wait until I have a permafrost shield, and also the point is that he'll end up with 5-6 7/1 nonmomentum'd destroyers instead of 5-6 8/3 momentum'd recluses or 9/whatever momentum'd dragons. I dont necessarily play it immediately, I try to do it when I think he is getting close to using them on himself, because like you said there is some pattern to it. Against Paradox, I only do it if he already has a creature with higher attack. He tends to play his TU's very liberally so having him use them on  your 7/1 golem is much better than using them on his own 10/10 RoL or worse 8/8 or 11/11 deja vu which still has it ability.

its hard to gauge when it will alpha strike because we dont know the underlying coding behind this pattern
i guess you've been lucky with the timing to use the trick
i did it a couple of times and every time Gemini will bombarded me with TU'd, Momentumed and TU'd (some more) action and i see my life drops from green to zero

its not fun going from green to zero

That requires some horrible luck, as he plays momentums as he gets them so he has to either draw it that turn or have it on all his creatures already (in which case he'd be doing the bombardment that turn or next anyways).

So whats the verdict of FFQ?  Should it be in the deck?

Just wondering, what variation of the deck are you using Mr.Blonde? The only changes Ive made with mine is -1 SoG and +1 aflatoxin
The only differences from the original version is that i swapped a SoG for a Bond and recently just added an aflatoxin. So i was 48-36 before adding the afla and i've been 11-8 after for a total of 59-44 with 42 EM's. I actually like the afla version much much better although the records are very similar right now.

I personally say no but some people would say otherwise
I actually like the FFQ more now with the afla. This allows me to easily afla myself if needed in certain matchups (also because i use a bond afla-ing myself can be beneficial). She's also good for using up CC spells which can be useful.

Been getting better results but honestly only because ive been skipping a ton of games.  Its seem you really need a perfect draw to even have a shot, against gods were I need a frost i draw all my pulvys, when I need a pulvy I draw a frost or no tower/novas.

Due to the lack of cards, I am using this variation right now. However it can still beat Half Bloods with good percentage, which is a nice alternative for other rainbows.

From my impression, unupped Antimatter is fine for LV5, and Golems can also be unupped.

Is there any improvement I can make in this deck?

need more SoGs
2 isnt cutting it in this deck since your rely on it more than the control rainbow variant
you need at least 4 of them but 5~6 is more preferable
i myself am using 5 SoGs + 1 Miracle, someone else tried 5 SoGs + 1 Feral Bonds with similar result

Been playing this deck a few days. Amazing deck for FG's, though I can't beat Eternal phoenix (came real close once).

A few things I learned:

Don't add a bunch of cards. Swapping out cards is ok, but adding 5-6 cards makes for a lot of bad draws.

Steal is too situational to be effective in this deck.

1 aflotoxin and 1 empathy in exchange for 1 SoG and 1 hourglass are definitly worth the exchange.

Woohoo! First time this has happened, for me anyway
A good draw + a bad draw for dark matter + smart playing on my part = a win. w00t.

Too bad I only rolled a gravity force, but hey at least I won something, and more importantly I beat Dark Matter.
