Trio & Quartet / Re: Steamy Stall

The four-Steam version would probably be more stable, even if they have about the same total HP across all the Steams. Three-Steam version saves you exactly 1 Quanta total (3 x 5 quanta, 4 x 4 quanta).

I'd rather have Mindgate than Fractal. But even after switching, I cut that out and just use the two Quints.

Also, deck is big. -2 Flying / Animate Weapons in each deck; rule of thumb is X - 1 of those cards, where X is the number of weapons in your deck.

Gravity Shield stops creatures with negative attack, so I don't know why you'd use it when it's inferior to the Permafrost even without considering your two Nymphs.

Not sure about the 6 Sundials. Hourglasses give much more draw power, which is probably more useful than a few turns of no damage (or healing).

So we've all given up, huh?

Fewer total cards, Supernovas, fewer shields, maybe a weapon, no Enchant Artifacts. They're all holding back your speed, though I don't know if it will necessarily increase your win rate.

Fractal Phase Dragons, it's optimal.

Not if those 2 cards make the difference between a win and a lose, the 5 is worth it.
What if you could make the same difference with fewer cards? It's not like you could power the two cards with your mark.

I wonder if anyone besides myself thinks that putting FIVE cards in a deck for the sole reason of being able to play TWO cards is silly.

If we assume that anti-Immolation rushes will fail against Fire stall and anti-Fire stall fails against Immolation rush, I don't think this plan will work out very well.
