I think I finally broke my chain of bad luck at 26 wins. It was brutal.

The deck in the OP seems a bit inconsistent. I had the same problem that many others had where Paradox did not play a ROL until it was too late to do any good. Fire Lance sudden killer (1.25) is another unupped deck that seems to be more effective against Paradox.

A slight modification by adding two Sundials. Pros: Seems to have increased my EM's overall. In addition, I like how they can give you a turn to consolidate vs momentumed creatures. Cons: Deck may need another QT.
This is my first fully upped deck and I began farming it just a few days ago. I made several mistakes that cost me at least 6 games. 55% win percentage if you factor out my mistakes.

Below is a quick 100 game sample:

Dream Catcher / Re: Oracle : Dream Catcher

Just EM'd DC with the following deck:

Mark of Entropy
4 Enchant Artifact
4 Druidic Staff
4 Adrenaline
3 Sanctuary (unupped)
4 Flying Weapon (unupped)
4 Quints (1 upped 3 unupped)
7 QT's
6 Snovas
2 Jade Shield

Very lucky opening hand with 2 towers, snova, staff, adrenaline, quint, and enchant artifact. EA saved my life since DC had a BE out on the 2nd turn. Since this deck is a little fat, you are reliant on either a lucky draw or a bad draw for DC. Sanctuary is probably expendable but I threw them in as added protection and healing since I had the 4 EA's to protect my towers.

Thanks for the OP.

The unupped deck in the OP works well but you almost have to draw a NT in your opening hand or within the first 4 turns. I managed to get my nymph on the table on turn 4 and I had 15 hp left at the end of turn 5.  After that, it was a thing of beauty.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the information. I changed my deck to a Flay Em style like you recommended and have done fairly well. However, I am now 16 wins without a winning spin. Has that happened to anyone else or am I just incredibly unlucky?

I kept the stats for my last 44 games (2 days) against FG's using this deck. Out of 9 wins, I have yet to manage a winning spin. Is everyone else still receiving a 33% payout or have you seen a general decrease in payout percentage?

I really like this game, but I don't see how you can create a competitive deck unless you play 16 hours a day.

Morte                0/2
Scorpio              0/1
Rainbow            0/2

Eternal Phoenix 0/1
Gemini               1/0
Graviton             0/2
Paradox             1/2  (bad draws/ broken chain)
Octane               0/2
Hecate               0/1
Elidnis                1/1 (broken chain)
Dream Catcher   0/4
Serket                0/1

Fire Queen         1/1
Neptune             1/0
Osiris                  0/3

Not sure if I understand how anyone is getting "rich". After playing today, I have won 6 FG games, lost about 11, and have not won a single card. Is this normal? Have the designers adjusted the payout or am I just having a run of bad luck?

Thanks,

New player, 1st post.

I have been using this deck for FG's and have had fairly good results. Initially however, my shield chain seemed to break about 50% of the time so I modified the deck as follows:

Burning Pillar- 7
Firebolt- 6
Farenheit- 1
Fire Pendulum- 6
Reflective Shield- 1
Light Pendulum- 1
Dimensional Shield- 6
Lobotomizer- 1
Sundial (upped)- 2

It seems to be more consistent now to get all 6 shields out but I have a couple of questions:

How often do you win a card in the spins? Seems to me that the win ratio is pretty low, somewhere around 1 card to every 7 spins.

How has Sundial getting nerfed affected the use of the card in this deck? I am second guessing my decision to spend the money to up this card after reading about how weak it is now compared to before.

I have tried putting a couple of SOG's in but it seems to increase the chance of breaking the shield chain. Nothing worse than wading through Obliterator, Jezebel etc.. to finally get a game against Ferox and have the shield chain break with 8 cards left in the deck.

The deck that I used to farm my way up to this point:

Mark of Fire
Wind Pillar- 17
Deflagration- 5
Elite Worm- 5
Flying Weapon- 3
Owl's Eye- 5 (got lucky on several spins when I first started playing)
SOG- 4

Deck was very consistent for levels 1-4 but got hosed pretty regularly above that.

Last question:

I have the following upped cards:

5 SOG's
5 Elite Worms
1 Elite Anubis
1 Electrum Hourglass
2 SOD
1 SOR
2 Quantum Towers
2 Sundial

I had originally been working towards putting together a rainbow deck (Hence the upgraded Hourglass and Quantum Towers) to replace this deck as a FG killer because of having to skip half the FG's available. Should I continue to work towards a rainbow deck or try and upgrade this deck instead? If so, which cards should I sell and which cards should I hold onto according to their playability.

Thanks to Twinsbuster for posting the deck.
