Possibly a little bit low on damage, but the quanta seems to be well distributed and it works pretty well in AI3- can't check anywhere else really in Trainer. The Mark means you're always sorted for the Explosions and probably have a little to spare.
Hope I haven't changed it too much- it is pretttty different, but I increased the Shockwave CC which you said you liked

There's always the Western Tournament if this one is too late for you- it runs about 12 hours after the Eastern one I believe.

I think at least part of the problem is that this is a huge deck with very little damage; there are only 3 or 4 creatures there, and all of them have low attack.
You've got the problem that most people have when first making a rainbow- trying to get everything in, and combine every kind of tactic. You need to cut back on the card numbers and drop some parts out- if you want mutants, focus on that a bit more, or if you want a CC deck focus on the Otyugh part.
You can probably drop the Cloaks- at least 2 of them. Go with just two shields- either two Dissipation Fields or one Field and one Dim Shield. You're unlikely to use 2 miracles in a match (though I can see with the Mark of Light that that's what you were thinking of), so I'd take one out. Try and get it below 50 cards.

I've never truly understood the kick of getting people to quit. I mean, you still have to play the rest of the game. Pissing people off doesn't quite replace winning.
Have you tested this in a real pvp, or only in AI3?

It's a pvp deck I'm guessing. Looks reasonably solid/reliable, although a little bit slow. Easily outrushed. The black holes will slow down the rainbows perhaps, but not so much monos, and you probably will need the time to keep up.
Maybe try adding some QuickSands? You've got the Earth quanta for it. Replace a Pulvy and maybe an oty and Heavy armour for them?

This deck is awesome.
My personal additions were: +1 Thorn Carapace, +1 Aflatoxin, +1 Miracle.

The result.
I didn't even need the miracle.

To be honest, against a level 3 I wouldn't expect you to. You're fully upped, and this is control deck, so you're not supposed to be in that much danger of damage- if you lose health you can gain it back with black holes.

I agree with you on the damage output point. I've dealt with that in the one I put up, but everyone should see what works best for them.

I fail to see how 6 fire quanta is ' heavy'. He's using 24+  there, which is much harder to gain. Although I reckon you'd only really use two- the third is just for a draw probability.

He's added in a bit more CC, but to do that he's really sacrificed on quanta control- 1 black hole wouldn't really do it for me. It's changing the style of the deck quite a lot. Keep the Fire Buckler if you want, but I'd try and get back to the QS/BH roots a bit more.

I'll be keeping an eye on this- looks pretty fun. I haven't got the money to buy it yet, having just sold every surplus card I have to make Drag-ords, but when I've built up some electrum I'll be working towards this.

Can I siggest a name change though? Because Liquid Matter... is just Liquid. It's like saying Liquid Water or Gas Air

Card Art / Re: Elements art class; any interest?

I am definitely interested.

I have to keep my work and some other activities prioritized so I don't know that it could be something I dedicate a ton of time to.

But, I think I could dedicate a few hours a week. Maybe each week you could lead a class that goes over some topic, and then everyone "in the class" goes and makes something up based on what we learned. Basically a detailed forum post that goes over artistic technique X, then in a week we all post what we came up with that exemplifies artistic technique X.

That way we could constantly be working on different aspects of our work. Basically like a weekly "assignment". Drawing art for the Forge or Armory cards eventually sounds great, but I need some work before I am there. Also, as I don't have a ton of time, a smaller project each week is more achievable and more helpful than 1 big project I spend 2 months on.

Btw, I use GIMP (which is freeware) and really pretty good. It's comparable to Photoshop and you can download plugins etc for it. Does have some drawbacks but you can't complain for free.

Thanks for suggesting this vrt, it is something I have been wanting but unable to find.

I'll have you know that I can complain about anything.

But yeah, reckon those sounds like good ideas. I'm back at uni starting the 20th, but I'm sure I can give an hour or so every now and then for some arty stuff.


Anyone noticed we've got Scientology ads on here now btw? Crazy
