Hmm, if you're going to use a solitary growth creature, wouldn't Steam Machine be tons more effective in the long run?

if there was a life version of firebolt ferox would have owned you.
Yeah, FGs totally would own you if they, in the middle of duels, randomly gain cards they never had in their decks.

Yes and no. It would be more effective in that it will grow faster assuming that I can keep up with the fire quanta generation, but it would also force me to use spine carapace instead of permafrost, and run RoL instead of another copy of firemaster.

It's the deck I posted here, if you are wondering:

That was a first for me also. Doesn't happen very often.  :D

I also haven't seen a creature with >100 attack before (chimera doesn't count because technically it's more then a creature). Now I'm wondering how fast you can bring a creature to 255 attack (that was the limit, right?) with some firenymphs and archangels =)

Repeated PU-ing a buffed Pegasus would reach that. It's just a matter of whether you can pull it off in time or not. XD

Check the 7th page in this topic... In my game Ferox ended with more than 2,2k life quanta :))

Apparently the limit is 499. I think this limitation was added recently, due to potential infinite cards via reverse time + mindgate. Also, now the attack of a twinned-diving creature drops back to the original after two turns, so basically you have to use TU every single turn to keep it up. I was only able to do this in trainer.

I actually had the attack of the middle-right wyrm at 982, but it dropped to 499 when I cast TU on it. I wasn't able to see if it would have dropped anyway during its attack (like how a scarab's health changes), or if I could've broken 1000 attack by diving the 499 for a 998 and then tossing another blessing, because I had to either kill Incarnate that turn or play a sundial and then deck out.

So 499 does seem to be the stable limit, I'm guessing because 499 is also the limit for health (or maybe 500), and anything higher is unimportant because either the attack is blocked, or the opponent is dead.

Unfortunately we don't have that much uanta ingame, so this strategy is out. Think how much money we'd all have if it was playable. :P

this is new to me, who knw about this?
nowhere does it say on the new patch about dived drops back to original after 2 turns
nothing big but still you'd think zanz would've add an addendum on the patch update thread or something...

edit: maybe its just a trainer's bug

edit2: found it

7.  Positive Pegasi
Symptoms:  Your Pegasus loses it's antimattered effect
Causes:  There was an old exploit involving twin universe and pegasus.  If you twin'd your pegasus, it's base attack power would stay the same, but it's current attack power would remain dived, allowing you to dive again, and doubling the attack power once more.  To fix this, Zanz added code returning the attack power of pegasus to it's base attack power after diving, meaning antimatter goes away.

Obviously.

I was not posting it as a gameplay strategy, being aware that it could only work with the quanta available in trainer, but rather as a result for some testing on the game mechanics. Dominating Incarnate was just part of the process.
