General Discussion / Re: [Poll] How many nymphs do you have?
« on: July 20, 2011, 03:48:59 pm »
I don't know if I should be unlucky or lucky with 7 purple nymphs (yes, I know what Zanz would say... but i think air or earth would be nice too from time to time)

:entropy :entropy :entropy :entropy :entropy :entropy :entropy :death :gravity :life :fire :light :light :time :darkness :aether

Note: As the description suggests - these shards work like pendulums.
If you use the shard while poisoned, it alternately removes 1 and 2 poison stacks.
If you use the shard while not poisoned, it will give you purify counters every second round

Edit: The effect might also apply for "burn"- counters, which are not implemented yet.

Competitions / Re: Card Design Competition: Shard Revolution

I know that the table of shard names is long enough but is it maybe possible to add "clarity" to the list?
Cleanliness is already taken and i cannot find a more suitable name for my concept.
However - the element will be water:

"Shard of Clarity"

If that's not possible, then I choose "Shard of Tenacity" because it seems that the concept might be more important than the name in this contest.
"Clarity" has now been added. :) It's a decent name I suppose...

On that note folks, please remember to post both the unupped AND upgraded versions of your card in the submissions thread. Thank you, and sorry about the sudden rule changes. ^^;
Thanks for adding "Clarity"  :)
Now that this is clear, I will work on my submission.

FG Proposals / Mimic

I think the idea behind this deck might be clear:
Hurry or you get beaten by your own deck!

Since I cannot play as a FG, I don't know if I put in too much towers but every FG should have it's own weakness ;)
I didn't read all FG proposals yet so if this deck already exists then please tell me ;)

I think the perfect Christmas gift would be a 100% chance to win a nymph at the oracle for the whole community and maybe a fun card like rudolph (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,15352.0.html) as a pet for the next game.

Gravity nymph from tears.
Right, I completely forgot about that card =)
A nice puzzle indeed.
It must have been hard to make that up.

Um, what O.o how is that possible?
Prepare the board with buffs, rewind RoL to get cards in the deck, destroy everything, suck up quanta.
Fractals could be used to suck up :aether quanta. But nymph tears would be enough to prepare this. With couple of SoRs, you could continue to buff Pheonix even without pillars left.
But that leaves the question how you managed to get rid of the time quanta from the mark?
Relics just draw your own quanta as far as I know.

getting Rainbow for 1/3 of my games.
I just hate Rainbow! The match always takes forever just to realize in the end that he survives with a hand full of HP and you wasted 5 minutes again in which you could have slayed 2 other FGs :/

It really dropped my score heavily. I guess i lost at least 50k score, so I have to put my dreams of top 50 on hold for a very long time.
I think you either have some terrible luck or you quit many games that you could have won to save time.
I use almost the same deck with a few slight differences (2 SoGs, just 6 aether towers but 3 light pendulums to fill the gap) and could easily raise my score by 10K in a few hours (which is of course luck dependant).
But anyways, I think 960 upgraded cards do speak for themselves ;)
