@Vangelios That does sound fun. Though the voting would have to be started a week or so beforehand.
My new idea is to have a small storyline over a few weeks.
Ex. The tale of the dragons.
Week 1: (title)
Story: The people of the (Elemental) world, having spread and killed almost all of the edible creatures that live on the ground, must now turn to the sky to survive.
Restrictions: There is only one non-airborne creature per element allowed (chosen by TOs)
Non-edible ones, such as Steam Machine, are exempt from the one per element rule.
Week 2: (title)
Story: Finishing off the last of the grounded creatures, they go after Dragons, the biggest of their possible prey.
Restrictions: Only Airborne Creatures, (like this last tourney). Only CC that can kill a Dragon in One hit is allowed (includes bolts, Rage pot, lightning, etc.)
Week 3: (title)
Story: The dragons are gone. Only small creatures remain. Having used all their best tools to kill off the dragons, they must resort to smaller means of surviving.
Restrictions: Only Airborne non-dragon creatures allowed. The CC from Week 2 cannot be used.
This is one way a story-based tourney series could be. The more developed the story is, the more creative the restrictions can be. The above was partly inspired by the heavy use of Dragons (from what I saw, made decks of, and assumed the rest).
