How do you win?

You win the match by locking down your opponent with malignant cells, putting up a shield, and overcoming any remaining damage with ridiculous amounts of life gain.  You then watch as he or she dies a slow, painful death (running out of cards) or voluntarily leaves the match (rage quits).

(Hopefully they send you a nice message -- complimenting you on your play style -- before they leave.)

Beautiful.  Probably more effective than my attempt at a "pacifist" deck.  Certainly much more stable.  Can't wait to try it, even though matches with decks like that take especially dark moods and long stretches of time.

The problem about Eternity is interesting, also though I love Entropy and Antimatter, Supernovas seem to destabilize as good quick-start fodder after about 35 cards -- and the Jade Staff doesn't seem to survive often.  Any thoughts on replacing them in favor of some Protect Artifacts and an Eternity+Spark retainer?

For a 60-card deck, it looks pretty fun. That's not to say that improvements can't be made. For example, I think that one of the main goals of the deck is to infest the opposite side with the cells as fast as possible. Thus, I would take out two antimatters for two more Aflatoxins.

Also, Purify is always questionable. You're getting 30 per turn from your Shards anyway. Since your main problem against poision-heavy decks would be Physalias, you should choose to use Aflatoxin on them.

@ Lz_erk

I thought about adding Protect Artifacts (and a few more permanents), but in the end, the Jade Staff is just as vulnerable as the Shards of Gratitude.  And for all intents and purposes, they function exactly the same for this deck.

@ Astaroth

First of all, I haven't played nearly enough games to figure out all of the minor tweaks.

The problem with Aflatoxin is that it doesn't reverse the bleeding.  It just slows the bleeding and eventually stops it a few turns later.  Antimatter reverses the bleeding immediately, taking out 2 equally powered creatures or maybe even sending your life positive.  Between the two, I think Antimatter is more important.  It's also the same element as your mark, so it's a more consistent stopper.  (But there's some wiggle room.)

I just think Purify is funny.  Feel free to take it out.

I'm still also not sure the ratio for Sundials (upped or non-upped) and Phase Shields.  There is probably 1 too many in the pic above.

Seriously that looks like the most annoying deck to play against. It really is named appropriately because i think i would definitely want to "Rage quit" if i played against it. With that said, nice deck.  :)

And because no one asked... story time!

It started off so innocently:

Mono Fire, eh?

Cepzenius drops some Fire Spirits, I drop a Dimensional Shield, and we both let them grow.

The shield falls, I hit the biggest one with some Antimatter and Cepzenius counters by intentionally sacrificing one of his own minions.

(A worthy adversary!)

A second Antimatter is played and a second spirit takes one for the team.

A third Antimatter is cast on a dragon that's looking at me funny... and it finally sticks!

...And the see-sawing of my HP begins.

*eyeballs Cepzenius' deck*

A few of my Hourglasses have been played, but were blown up immediately.

I play another one, Cepzenius runs out of Deflagrations, and I finally get the upper hand.

(A little late for the Aflatoxin, but... they make good screenshots.)

(Success.)

This is my non-trainer version of the deck.  I only have about 7 upped cards, so it's a little shakey.

(btw, the upped version could take on both lvl5s and a few False Gods... if they didn't cheat with the deck sizes.  I've yet to test it against a FG that uses Hourglasses.  I think I will do well.)

If this gets too obnoxious, I'll stop.

Until then...

Long story short:

(Versus half-upgraded Mono Fire this time.)

The games take forever but...

...most of them are Elemental Mastery.

...One of the most INFURIATING decks I've seen in a long, long time. Congratulations for making a deck that is basically the incessantly bzzing mosquito in the midst of a pack of killer bees.
