Wow.. it took me an hour to make this freaking thread but here it finally is:

Epic 3 Card Design Challenge - Vote For a Winner

Contestants were asked to submit 3 cards ideas using the following images:

Now is your turn to vote for the winner. Pick 3 best groups of 3 cards. If you think 1st and 2nd card ideas are great, but the 3rd one sucks, don't vote for that person. All three ideas have to be great.

Take these things into consideration when making your decision:
50% How good the card idea is
50% How well the image fits the idea

Remember, this is not an art competition so unique art modifications should not give the person any extra points.

Winner: Essence

This vote runs for 7 days. Voting is closed!

You have 3 votes. You can change your vote at any time. Below are all the contestants. Click a card image to go to discussion page.

Vote for Number 2!

Banshee:
Creates new synergies with Darkness, along with involving Air more into some cards. Also, a creature that starts off Infected is pretty interesting. It is quite costly, but quite powerful in a duo deck.

Wormhole:
The FIRST card named Wormhole! :D Reverse Time is quite a versatile card, and so is this. Plus, the upgraded version does the exact opposite, making actual use for upped and unupped cards.

Introspection:
Creates new synergies for forgotten healing spells, like Holy Flash. Additionally, has some interesting properties on its own.

Check the time the card was posted icy  :P Mine would've been first but I couldn't post anything on the topic for some reason, and I had to leave for work. By the time I got back yours was just barely ahead of mine :P

We went over this before, assassim. Let's stop arguing and make a small public service announcement:

Don't judge a card's originality by its name.

I had to LITERALLY grade each card on a scale from S to F (where S = perfect card that I personally believe Zanz would program immediately due to its originality and new game play mechanics, while F = failed idea that is overpowered, too weak/situational, overly complicated/requires too much explanation, or makes no sense whatsoever).

...and according to my grade sheet, no one got an S, and only one got a big fat F. However, so many C's, B's, and a few A's made my decision harder than I thought. ^^;; It was four-way tie when I had to make my final vote.

(Mostly) Fantastic ideas, nonetheless. :) I'm just glad that someone managed to vote for my cards (Go for #16! ^^; )

Personally, I'm baffled as to why #17 is leading.

Shadowgate = PU on crack on a stick, and it's a permanent from the element that has Steal, so ONLY fire decks and Pulverizer will be able to cope with it.

Neutron Fusion = How to make RoL+Hope even stronger than it already is for no real reason (and no other discernable purpose for the card).

And Interspatial Contemplation would be OK, I guess (still hard to balance) execept that with the new Shard of Readiness, it's totally gangbusters in a Dissipation Shield + Flying Ready Eternity deck.

Can anyone explain the attraction here?
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
