Ooh, upgrading gives it an entirely new element! This is very interesting stuff. Quite creative. I can't see the unupgraded version in much use, as it's very similar to Parasite except more costly. The upgraded version is great, too. Both of them may be just a touch underpowered; I would say reducing their costs to 4 and 4 would help.

Sounds like a good idea, and that's sort of the point of the whole element shift in upgrading. The unupgraded isn't supposed to be too worthy on it's own but once you upgrade it, it gets better.

There are cards that get close enough downgrading to x of any quanta, and sundial completely loses time.

That said, lowering the cost would probably help, maybe lowering the quanta cost for the ability.

Icy, the instant I saw that stock photo, the word "chakra" popped up in my mind. More people know about those seven points of power than you imagine. "Chakra" is too generic to be "name stealing". No worries though, because I'm also going to use "chakra" as the name

As for this card itself... I'm not sure if upgrading a card can shift it into a different element... I did a card called Water Golem | Ice Golem, and it can transform between its regular and upped forms; but that is still in one element. I'm not sure if element changing can be done...

Your idea is a little more far-fetched in my mind. A card that can turn into it's upgraded form under the first conditions. Mechanical wise, it's not a hard feat to do. Each card is coded into the game, upgraded and unupgraded, or so I would assume. I don't think ther eis any in game transformation going on where the base for the upgraded card is the unupgraded card just changed a bit. I mean, essentially that's what the upgraded card is, but I don't think the game does that, I think both upgraded and unupgraded are coded into the game, and when you upgrade a card, 1500 electrum and your card go away and replaced with a brand new card. So I think my idea can be done easily.

According to Zanz when discussing the Card Usage Statistics, he informed me that each card in the database has its own record and the two are linked by another code.

Assuming this, changing element should be technically ok.

I like the cards. They seem rather balanced with the upgraded and unupgraded abilities. It adds synergy to Death and Darkness in a whole different way.
