Congratulations on replacing fun-factor of the game w/ more frustration in v1.21.

I think I'm done, after reaching 106k+ score....it's now lost it's appeal.  Time to reset and leave.  It's been a fun 6 months, but the consistent increase in difficulty just doesn't make sense.  We were already losing to FG's regularly...why increase the cost of so many cards that even gave us a chance?

Sorry, rhetorical questions I don't want or expect an answer.

So, instead of trying new strategies, like Hope/RoL/Fractal or whatnot, you just quit... hmm, that's nice.
The problem is not that you're losing too much is that having to use the same old FG grinder over and over and over again was too boring. Now, you have another option, which can, in the hands of a good player, experienced with that type of deck, reach over 50% winning percentage. It's not like you can't change farming decks... *sigh*

I agree with him about one thing, there is no point about increase the FG difficulty.

By the way, did you create a Hope deck that defeat FG +50% times?

Well, why not get your head out of the ground and look around for yourself? The only deck only close to being able to beating FGs consistently is the very Rainbow deck that has been nerfed so much. I agree with E up here, this game is less fun now.

Excuse me, but I'd say you are wrong. There are a number of other decks. Less popular of course, because rainbow decks are so famous most players don't know about other options, but there REALLY are other decks, both ones designed to win against all or most of the gods, and ones that are designed to win against a certain group of gods (like the ones without permanent control, or fractal decks that work on gods without RoF/Plague/Fire buckler/unstable gas), and quitting against these gods, but still having a good winning percentage.
Look here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,87.0.html

And tell me there are no non-rainbow decks.

It's not the only FG deck, but the only one that can win against the FGs consistently. The forum you linked contains decks that are extremely outdated (some are even v1.14) and just decks that don't really beat a lot of gods. I haven't tested all of them, currently I'm running my own build, but most of the decks without strong draw or heal are very inconsistent against FGs.

Right now after these nerfs I feel rainbows are less consistent than some of the new ideas. And it does not matter how many decks there are outdated, as long as there are 1.21 decks too (and I see a number of 1.21 non-rainbow decks there).

Ok, just play a non-rainbow deck with draw (time aether?) or with healing (fractal + bonds?). I guess these decks can be consistent enough.

I'd recommend my anti-FG (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4958.msg55301#msg55301) deck, because I feel it's pretty consistent and can beat all FG (though some like obliterator are still quite hard), but it's half time half rainbow, and somehow some people claim to have much worse results than I have... strangely enough I managed to upgrade ~10 cards with it (since the beginning of 1.21), so what I started with was even less upgraded. ;)

And about those outdated decks... some of them have been either updated a few times since then, or you can find more up to date versions in posts at the end of these threads... generally if there is still discussion in these threads it means that at least some version of that deck is still useful in 1.21, maybe with some tweaks probably already mentioned in that thread...
And my own thread is quite outdated even though I created it a few days ago, because I added a few cards, removed a few and upgraded quite a lot ;) It's also faster than the original... I'll have to update it at some point, but right now I only update the deck itself.

yaladilae's variant (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4958.msg56381#msg56381) is also very good
