This deck plays out straightforwardly. It was a good counter against his deck because his creatures all had 3 HP.

Games:

Both games were very similar. He would get early Arsenic but I would also get early fog shield. He would try to save up his Mummys to rush me so my Owl's Eye wouldn't be able to kill them easily turn by turn as they are played but I also had Shockwaves so it never really worked out for him.

Similar decks but mine is better because Dim Shield>Immortal. Pretty simple all in all.

I think the Air option against Light probably fits the best.

I think Water (just Freezes really) would work better against Fire than anything else we have but the real question is do we want to salvage Freezes?

It is getting to where there isn't much choice anymore.

We generally have to keep any Gravity cards we can and salvages are pretty straightforward this round.
In terms of what we are keeping, having enough pillars/pendulums is top priority. Keeping damage cards/creatures/Titans is probably second priority. Dune Scorpions are alright to keep. Otherwise perhaps we might wish to keep some Freezes and Wings as the only non damage cards.

We should try to get decks we feel good about first and then go to latter ones. It'll be difficult to try to balance everything at once.

So firstly, I feel Light against Darkness is good. Earth/Entropy against Aether. Water against Death. Some of these may be obviously but we have little variety available and these really are the best we can do.

Against Water: Water will be slow with their attack. I think, other than Adrenaline Mercs, a stallish deck that relies on Titan to kill would work nicely.

Light: Light would go Miracle or Fire imo. I would say both would be best dealt with with quanta denial; Earth over Entropy because Discord<Deflagration.

Fire: Aether could work; Lightning and Otyugh to kill creatures. If they go for a Bolt deck though it could be troublesome.

Entropy: Discord/BH. It would need to be fast enough to get 3rd turn Discord and 2nd turn Black Hole. I like the idea of Fire with Immolation though. Problem is we need stuff to immolate and we don't have cheap creatures.

I fear Time would be too difficult to give too much consideration of a deck with.

I did not experience this but it happened in a tournament I was organising.

Player A has Voodoo Doll. The Voodoo Doll has gravity pull effect on it. Player B attacks Voodoo Doll but does not take damage as he damages Voodoo Doll.

There are a variety of considerations, quanta levels, card amounts in the vault, Reverse Time etc.

Game 1: Was a pretty comfortable win for me. I had Ice Shield and that along with Freezes stopped his attack while I chipped away.

Game 2: His deck performed much better than last game. Deflagrations and Reverse Times just stopped anything I had and he won comfortably.

Game 3: This was the closest game. He Deflagrationed my early Ice Shield and Reverse Timed my creatures maybe 4/5 times. In the end I had too much firepower and caught up to his early advantage because I kept his Fire Golem locked down.

I don't think that's bad but the problem with that is damage output and Entropy can make it worse with Antimatter. Entropy doesn't have good offence either but it's still better than Gravity's. Like someone said earlier, everybody is just rushing us; we can use discord and BH to stop their rush but, being that they have a rush deck, they would have a good amount of firepower still just that it would be slower to come out. The deck Napalm tested has higher fire power but your's has gravity pull to stop their offence. Can't say which one would definitely work better but Chargers are probably better.

I think the only other option vsing Entropy is Earth. Their important cards, dragon, antimatter, are high cost so killing quanta sources is useful.

As for time, they do seem to like Graboids. Aether is a great counter to most of their decks and it seems they were testing against that? They do have poison decks though.

Gravity / Re: Round 2 - Salvages / Discards / Conversion

I agree fractal sucks.

Also I thought we could only convert cards from our own element into pillars/pendulums?

I would discard the phoenixes in that fire deck, phoenix costs too much unupgraded. I've never had any good results with any phoenix deck with gravity.

The problem with heal and adrenaline is that that's just too many life cards in one deck. It really should be two decks. In any case I think it is best if we get rid of the heals and keep the adrenalines.

Otherwise I am in general agreement.

Hi, everyone. Decks look decent. I'm sorry I have been busy and I still will be for the next 3-4 days but that means I should be relatively more free to discuss next week's deckbuilding at least for the last day or two of that phase. Would be good if we could try to schedule a certain time for discussions so I can try to make time or whatever.
