Mono-Aether is a strong contender for "best unupgraded halfblood farmer ever".  This is how we do it:

Mark of Aether
8x Aether Pillar
6x Dimensional Shield
5x Immortal
4x Phase Dragon
7x Aether Pendulum

Bam.  Done.  Lay out your shields early and often; more HP at the end of the game = more money for you.   You won't win every game, but you'll win most of them.   Shields are your big weakness, and in fact if you want to be a little risky, you can swap to Mark of Darkness and swap one of each critter for a Steal.  You'll deck out slightly more often (less damage dealing), but you won't have as much trouble with shields.  It's your call.

:) Much more effective than it looks; I can attest to this.

Problem is, lots of half-blood players probably don't have those cards. And if you DO have them, chances are, you have some other rares too and you can start farming FGs rather than half-bloods.

I sold a White Nymph to make this deck. I have played 40 games against AI5 with this deck now and lost absolutely every single game thus far.

Wow, really?  To what are you losing, Xiahou?  Steals and Deflags of your shields?  Nasty shield effects on your Immaterial creatures?  Just getting straight-up outdamaged?

I'd like to know because I've played exactly 200 games vs. half-bloods with this exact deck and I've lost exactly 26 of them.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Nah, just a few changes and it would be great, like add a couple more dragons for damage and a lightning would help aswell!

Yes. Any deck that brings anti shield measures is tearing me a new one. I see a ton of Pulverizer decks and every single one is basically game over.

Nasty shield effects on your Immaterial creatures?
Not as much as I'd expected. I lost one game to a Gravity Shield where I drew not a single Immortal the entire game and another to a 30% Fog Shield that blocked every single attack from all 9 creatures for 3 consecutive turns. Apart from these two crazy one offs the only shield problems I have tend to be when they are also packing Dimensional Shields.

Just getting straight-up outdamaged?
Quite often. Creature spams and Dragon heavy decks consistently outdamage me. Charger and just generally Momentum based Gravity decks also outdamage me too much and render my Dimensional Shields useless. Also I have faced a fair few Poison Build decks too where the Chrysaora and Poisons build up and ignore my Shields, if I don't draw Dragons early enough they quickly build up Poison faster then I build up Damage.

I do not place much of the blame on the deck though. I am on a terribly bad luck spree today and I am having REEEEEDICULOUSLY bad draws 90% of the time although I still estimate at least 20-25% of my losses have been legit.

I am currently 16-74

Ummm...are you sure you're playing AI5 and not t50, Xiahou?   Out of 144 Halfbloods, there are exactly two that can play and utilize Pulverizer.

I can see Momentum being a problem in the 8.3% of games that involve a Gravity-type Halfblood, but the Chrysora, again requiring 2 colors of quanta, is only really usable by 2 Halfbloods.

I suppose you must just really be on a bad luck streak.  I understand, though -- I recently started playing with the Nymphomania deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2630.0.html) and I've seriously lost like 3,000 ep over three days with a deck that everyone else seems to be profiting decently from.  No idea why.  I guess it's Karma.  :)

Essence, it should be pointed out that the Half-Bloods ALL have Quantum Pillars/Towers, so any deck that had Water or Earth could use Chrysora or Pulverizer, but only two could use them effectively.

Essence, it should be pointed out that the Half-Bloods ALL have Quantum Pillars/Towers, so any deck that had Water or Earth could use Chrysora or Pulverizer, but only two could use them effectively.
This. With Quantum Towers a Deck only needs one of the two elements to play the cards.

Quantum Towers are more then enough to get the 1 or 2 Death quanta a turn to work the Chrysaora for a deck with just Water and the Death decks only need to get a few Water quantums at all to play the Chrysaora.

Earth Decks can't use Pulverizer often unless it's an upgraded one which is much more cost efficient but even just 1 or 2 Shields destroyed over the course of the entire game can ruin you. Gravity Decks will have no problem getting the 3 Earth to play Pulverizer and can then use it's ability at will.

Not to mention the Poison coming from either Arsenic or direct Poison cards.

I've actually had much better results today, I haven't come close to winning back what I lost before but I am at least starting to win 60% of the time.
