Before everyone gets up in arms over this thing, I'd like to bring up two important facts.
1, This is a rare card, Just like Nymph or the Weapon cards of the elements before it, it will be rare to see someone lucky enough to obtain it.
2, There will be a shard for ALL the elements, and one of those may counter this one perfectly, or be powerful in it's own way.

The rarity of weapon cards is questionable. I got 6 of each weapons upgraded. Also the current shards. Nymphs are slightly different. But even then, rarity shouldn't be a major balancing factor.
There is already a perfect counter against this shard: explosion.

This is a direct counter to immorushes and speedbows? If this is the goal of this card, it fails miserably.

1st, if you are going to use it in your first turns (lets suppose, 3rd turn), you are also probably not dealing real damage to your opponent. All your quanta is drained (except Death), so you will also not be playing anything, while the opponent will be growing his creatures. You get no advantage.

2nd, immorushes and speedbows can easily pack a couple of explosions. Sorry, you lost.

It is free card for mono . But you are right about explosion Anyone playing this while not in 1-2 turns away from death is silly.

Nevertheless, I'm fairly sure there's no possible way in PvP to lose/win on the first turn.

Mutation, both players use QTs and pandemonium for lots of TUs for low cost.

While it IS a good idea to have 12 shards (MORE RARES TO GET =D) I have my doubts about changing the current shards.
Shard of Gratitude is one of the most used shards because it costs 3 of anything! And that's what's so good about it!
Shard of Readiness is one of my favourite cards because, like above, it costs 3 of any element. Making it time, well let's just say it completely bombs my deck.
Overall, if these three shards are put into elements, a lot of decks will be ruined. More than you think.

Shards are *not* going to be element specific (which is the reason 30% of what's in shard competition is completely stupid). Its cost is gonna stay the same. However, its ABILITY will be changed to be better for one element.
