Yeah, I've clicked every day since the Oracle came out.  I've gotten no Nymphs, and only won about 3 other cards. :)
Maybe its your Fortunes that suggest a Hydrogen Cyanide detox or killing Zanz that have put your Fortune off.

I'm pretty sure I never suggested killing Zanz.  In fact, I do believe I specifically said NOT to kill Zanz.  Also, almonds are almonds, not some poison that smells like them.  ;p
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Almonds contain Amygdalin which when exposed to a solvent (such as Citric Acid aka Lemon Juice) becomes Prussic Acid aka HCN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amygdalin#Chemistry

From good old Wikipaedia we also see. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amygdalin#Toxicity
"Beta-glucosidase, one of the enzymes that catalyzes the release of the cyanide from amygdalin, is present in human small intestine and in a variety of common foods. This leads to an unpredictable and potentially lethal toxicity when amygdalin or laetrile is taken orally"

The common Almond Lemon Detox actually exposes you to Hydrogen Cyanide under various recipes if not treated correctly or not using the appropriate ingredients.

And as for killing Zanz. Like anyone would ever not use a Purple Nymph once they had it. Mine is a reg part of my deck. I feel sorry for Zanz but its your fault fortune teller. :P

Best Fortune yet - Purple Nymph

"Your Touch will Cause Zanzarino's Head to explode. For our sake don't use it"

Or don't sell it because on average it will take you 144 days to get another one. So if you can get 909 electrum in 144 days, it's probably a better idea to keep it in case you want it in the future :).

In the future....

I REALLY wanna make this awesome aether deck that uses those aether nymphs. But I still need one more! Ugh, I WISH I had never sold that first one I got!

Nymphs being unwinnable in slots is just insane.
I haven't won a single one yet and I use the Oracle every day. My friend who started to play much later already has four on his main account and another three on his secondary.
No matter how hard it is to obtain a card it should be possible if the player spends enough effort. Having to WAIT a year or more just to win the one you actually need is stupid, and I didn't even mention what if you need more than one in the same in the deck? Besides if you aren't lucky, with an 1:144 chance, you might as well forget about starting to "collect" them. You might not even live long enough to win six of the same nymph...that is if you are still playing the game then...which isn't too likely. 12 of each of them, to also have upgraded an unupgraded ones is...something none of us will live long enough to have.

Having no Nymphs on my 61000 score account while people with 2000 score often have 2-3 of them is just unfair. This is a strategic card game (with a bit too much grinding), and not a lottery game of "who wins a nymph first".
At least none of the nymphs are game-breaking. If a card with the strength of something like hourglass, sundial or phase shield would be Oracle only, that would be the end of the game.

I agree that it really blows. A step towards random gambling and away from fair strategic gameplay.

However there is one very hard way to obtain those nymphs open to about anyone:
Play the tourneys and win them and you might get lucky.

This is the part where somebody replies "Life is unfair."

Agreed.  The nymphs are not game-breaking and are really more of a novelty since you can buy any of their abilities as a spell card.  It's nice to have one and it'd be nicer to have more, but how many anti-FG decks or T50 decks do you see out there?

I also think they could be easier to get. I use the oracle everyday for like 2 months now, and I got 3 Nymphs: air, fire and water. I think the oracle is a fine thing, but there could be another easier ways.
