OldTrees is right.
The solution to the crippled  :rainbow would be to add some supernovas.
But this is good, because it will make more Rainbows mark-oriented.
Its impossible to run a regular Rainbows with anubis. (8  :time).
You ve got to feed the Hourglass (4+1 skill  :time ) an eternity (5+3 skill :time)
Same if you wanted to do mass fate egg or Pharaoh.

3|1 seems balanced imho.
I wouldn't replace all my quantum pillars for quantum pends if was fiven the choice. You need a good steady flow of  :rainbow in rainbows decks.

Is it not already balanced?

Quantum Pillars produce 3 random/turn [1/4 a quanta to each]
Normal Pendulums produce alternating quanta (1/turn)/2 and (1/turn)/2 = 1/turn
But are Quantum Pillars balanced?

I feel they are for now.

I'd rather have this as a Bazaar item than a rare.  It seems like an obvious contribution alongside Quantum Towers and other Pendulums.  I'd also rather not have quanta generators be made rare generally, as many more quanta generators are required per deck than any other card.  Getting these in a rare spin wouldn't feel like an achievement, it would just be "Great, now I have Quantum Pendulum 3/20.  I just need to farm 17 more for this new deck."

Great card! I love it. I don't know why it's only 4 stars.

Lovely card, I'd certainly use about ~40% of those and ~60% of regular Quantum Towers in most of my rainbow decks that aren't very aggressive. But as much as I'd love this card I'm afraid the kinds of decks that would benefit from it the most are already powerful - I'd much rather see some help to multi-element decks that are NOT rainbow - their quanta generation per cards used is really weak compared to the power of rainbow generators. Now trying to come up with my own idea to fix that.

Quanta balancing what?? Nonsense!
I am happy with an earth pillar in my earth mono
I am happy with a quanta pillar in my rainbow
I am happy with a quanta pendulum in my heavily earth rainbow, right??

Jesus... some people are acting like an elephant when he sees the vacuum cleaner for the first time about this card. Or they are just trolling. Even after pure mathematical proof that card is more than balanced (OldTrees, 2nd post). This card is actually something that should have been the part of this game right from beginning. And if this card was in game from start, all those complainers wouldn't say once all this stuff they're saying now. They'd take it for granted, as very logical and useful card. Anywayz - great card, definitely should be part of the game.

I find the card is a little strange though. While it is obvious, it is also unusual because it generates alternately random quanta and a certain fixed kind. It does not feel very natural to me, even though I also thought (from when pendulums were first released) that "[they are] actually something that should have been the part of this game right from beginning."

Also, it would probably annoy me that there'd be no version of this that 1st produces Mark-quanta, and then generates 3 random. But I've thought that about all pendulums.

1) I agree with the unnatural feeling.
2) A regular pendulum that generated mark quanta first would be slightly less powerful. A solution would be to have 1 card that alternates starting with mark quanta and then to an element selected when played. This might have to cost 1 quanta to play though.
