So I see a lot of newer players lost in the technical or casual jargon of Elements. They only hope is to log in chat and ask ask ask the more experienced players.
I decided to make a compilation of the most frequently used expressions, so every player, old and new, can find them organized in a topic.
The expressions are in no particular order as a Chaos Seed had been cast on me recently.
decksmono: a deck that uses cards from only 1 element
duo: a deck that uses cards from 2 elements
trio: a deck that uses cards from 3 elements
rainbow: a deck that uses cards from many, if not all, elements
stall: a deck that is designed to slow down the pace of the game and win in a slow, but sure manner.
rush: a deck that is designed to win as fast as possible. Usually relies on creatures.
counter: a deck that is designed to specifically beat another deck (or, by simple coincidence, happens to be a good anti-deck against a certain strategy)
Denial - A form of deck that relies on taking away your opponent's ability to cast things by preventing them from having any quanta. Pests, Earthquakes, Black Holes, and Discords are the most common forms of Denial.
Charge - A form of deck that starts slow, but builds to a huge finish, usually through the use of Fractal. The False God Eternal Phoenix has a Charge deck.
Dominator - A form of deck that features a creature rush coupled with significant creature control, designed to take out Rush decks.

Speedbow: A rainbow deck that focuses on rushing
Stallbow: A rainbow deck designed to stall. Usually used against FG's.
Mono-Aether - A specific deck that relies on DimShields and entirely Immortal creatures to make all of an opponent's offensive creatures and creature-control cards useless, thus winning through a strange form of card advantage.
Poison - A deck type that relies on dealing damage through poison counters, bypassing shields and creating a situation where simply surviving long enough becomes a victory. Limited to

Hax Shield: the card Fog Shield (

AI1-2-3-4-5: Different levels of computer opponents. Most common usage is AI3.
FG False Gods, the toughest AI oponents in the game so far.
T50: The top-50, an AI player using a deck submitted by one of the top 50 players (based on score). The database fluctuates weekly, and the opponent faced is a random one.
PVP: Player versus Player, or a duel match.
desync: The desynchronization bug, a PVP bug where the players lose connection with the server(or some other "techical" stuff happens), so one or both players experience weird things going on.
GG: An abbreviation for "Good Game"
- Originally, a Phrase said when one player concedes the PVP match (the player messages "GG" to the other player)
- also used to describe a situation where a game turns so one-sided it is clear who is gonna win, even when the match hasn't finished yet. ("If he kills my Oty then its GG")
- A phrase used after the end of the match, to compliment on the opponent's skill, or on the match itself. ("TY <players name>, GG")
EM: Elemental Mastery, when someone wins with all his/her HP left.
CC: Creature control, cards that are used to deal with creatures.
SCC: SingleCC, a card that deals with a single creature, for example Rage Potion
MCC:Mass Creature Control, a card that deals with multiple creatures, like Rain of Fire
PC: Permanent Control, a card that deals with permanents, like Deflagration
OM NOM NOM: The act of devouring a creature.
OP: short for "Overpowered"(usually a card)
UP: shot for "Underpowered" (usually a card)
afk: Abbreviation, stands for "away from keyboard"
brb: Stands for "be right back"

SG=Scaredgirl: The forum administrator
QI: Quanta Index, (

TTW: Turns to win, an average number of turns it takes for a deck to win. Correlates with the deck's speed. Usually it is tested against AI3, 100 or more games.
pepo: Pepokish (
