So I see a lot of newer players lost in the technical or casual jargon of Elements. They only hope is to log in chat and ask ask ask the more experienced players.
I decided to make a compilation of the most frequently used expressions, so every player, old and new, can find them organized in a topic.

The expressions are in no particular order as a Chaos Seed had been cast on me recently.

decks

mono: a deck that uses cards from only 1 element
duo: a deck that uses cards from 2 elements
trio: a deck that uses cards from 3 elements
rainbow: a deck that uses cards from many, if not all, elements
stall: a deck that is designed to slow down the pace of the game and win in a slow, but sure manner.
rush: a deck that is designed to win as fast as possible. Usually relies on creatures.
counter: a deck that is designed to specifically beat another deck (or, by simple coincidence, happens to be a good anti-deck against a certain strategy)
Denial - A form of deck that relies on taking away your opponent's ability to cast things by preventing them from having any quanta.  Pests, Earthquakes, Black Holes, and Discords are the most common forms of Denial.
Charge - A form of deck that starts slow, but builds to a huge finish, usually through the use of Fractal.  The False God Eternal Phoenix has a Charge deck.
Dominator - A form of deck that features a creature rush coupled with significant creature control, designed to take out Rush decks.

RoL Hope: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6546.0.html) a deck that uses Fractals, Rays of Light and Hope to set up an effective defense.
CCYB: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,9545.0.html)(Full name:"Creature Control? Why bother?") an effective and popular rainbow deck that plays no CC to win over its opponents. Also immune to CC due to QEs.
USEM: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10563.0.html)Ultimate Speed EM deck, thanks to jmdt. Essential for scorefarming.
DEMA: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12700.0.html) Destroy 'Em all! A very fast pillarless EM deck for farming AI3 and T50. Created by jmdt.
Speedbow: A rainbow deck that focuses on rushing
Stallbow: A rainbow deck designed to stall. Usually used against FG's.
Mono-Aether - A specific deck that relies on DimShields and entirely Immortal creatures to make all of an opponent's offensive creatures and creature-control cards useless, thus winning through a strange form of card advantage.
Poison - A deck type that relies on dealing damage through poison counters, bypassing shields and creating a situation where simply surviving long enough becomes a victory.  Limited to :water , :death , :life , and :time decks.
...tal: A deck that Fractals creatures to win. Examples are Pestal (devourer/pest), Cocktal (Elite Cocktarices)

OM NOM NOM: The card Otyugh
Om nom is not used for a card, but for the act of eating stuff in any way (like gaining the ability through mutation).

bolt: the card Firebolt
Can also be Ice Bolt.

Ety: The card Eternity
QE: The card Quintessence
SCC: SingleCC, a card that deals with a single creature, for example Rage Potion
MCC:Mass Creature Control, a card that deals with multiple creatures, like Rain of Fire
You actually saw someone using those or you just made them up? If someone mentions one of those to me, I'll respond with "wut?" and "lol".

Eternity is Eternity, Quintessence is Quint, CC is CC, and mass CC is mass CC. Laziness is okay as long as people understand you. No need to be overly cryptic just for the sake of it.
