this sheild has saved me and screwd me.  Dont really like it.  i would prefer to know what is going to happen to me on any given turn.

I love this card! Without it I'd totally be screwed all the time! It can be a real gamble though so sometimes it's tough.

The text is not entirely correct, this shield also affects weapons (not just attacking creatures).

Everytime I play against this card, it always feels like I hit way less than 50%. Everytime I steal it though, it feels like I get hit way more than 50%.

this card sounds bad at first but when you think about it you can halve the damage of a full field of fireflies permantently (not just 3 turns like dim shield :P)

But it isn't a definite 50% if you're unlucky it could not block them at all, or you could be really lucky and it block them all.
