I'd be very surprised if he has 6 unupgraded golden nymphs in real game. I would also be very surprised if his intent was to make a deck for effectively grinding AI3 to quickly gain electrum, because when you have 6 golden nymphs (I guess no one does so far ) you probably do not need to grind AI3 for electrum
Thus I guess his intent is indeed to play a funny and original deck in trainer. And for that purpose there is really no problem with playing 6 golden nymphs, in fact it's the only reasonable way you can play such a deck, so why not?
Also, have you tried it miniwally? I tried it and decking out is rarely a problem. Golden nymphs are mostly a source of damage, tougher than dragons and they are useful in case you did not draw a pharaoh early enough. You don't use them every time you can
In fact a golden nymph serves a purpose similar to a mix between an hourglass, a dragon and something tough. The main advantage is that it's the only way can have a functional hourglass-thingy, but be permanentless (excluding pillars), so it's no longer vulnerable to steals and deflags. Precogs would not serve well any of these functions so It's really no use replacing those nymphs with precogs (or hourglasses for that matter). It would seriously change the effectiveness of this deck, the playing style and it would be neither interesting to play it in trainer, nor effective to play it in real game.
