The link you've used to denote when the tourny is. Hell, you can even see from the link alone that it's set to "day=9" and "hour=5" with a default timezone of GMT. That's tomorrow.
The timer is probably right though. Too tired to count it.

Thanks!  I never looked that closely at that website.  I thought it was just for converting time, didn't see you could put in a date/time.  I just edited the forum code so the count down 'should' be correct.

AHH I messed up again!  The world clock page and the count down timer were off by 1 hour.  And I notice it 2 hours before the tournament starts (by the world clock timer).  Well, the main reason I'm doing this is to learn how to run tournaments and if I would like to help out.
