Oracle : Decay

For those who are wondering, THIS is the deck that always beats and gets EMs against Decay. This deck is the third in the original post. You may see some upgrades here, but it works wonders also unupgraded. Trust me, if this deck is played correctly, 100% of the matches will be EM. only I was lucky enough to never lose and always get an EM with this deck. Unfortunately many other users reported losses with this deck, but it's still my choice for Decay.

My current stats with it: 10-0. 10/10 EM. No changes and no upgrades are needed Put as much upgrades in it as you can! It's just perfect. Thanks go to majofa!

This worked well for me, despite not drawing a Sanctuary for 10 rounds.  I was 1 turn too fast for the EM, but the deck seems very solid overall.

EM'd sooooo easily with 4 each: Vampire, Momentum, Adrenaline, Quintessence. 3 Jade Shield. Quantum Pillar fill. Highly recommended.

I think the above deck wouldve worked wonders, had the @#$%^ Decay not played 4 devours by turn 2.  Then fractal on them.

I had a shield up, was taking no damage, 8 quantum pillars, AND NEVER GOT 3 DARK QUANTA.  I ended up running out of cards, wtih 20+ of most of the other quanta.

I really hate this game, like no other I have ever played.  I think it sucks, is completely noob unfriendly, and will die to slow attrition as 90% of the newer players, like myself, will never get to the later stages of the game.

I used the unupgraded deck from the original post, it would have worked fine, except that I didnt get a Lava Golem till there were only 10 cards left in my deck, and the second came up as the last card.  I simply could not do enough damage fast enough.  Just a bad draw though, not the deck's fault.  Decay even had a pretty good start.

100%? You underestimate the ability of the RNG to screw you over.

This. I've lost with that deck plenty of times (and I assure you I know how to play it properly). Bottomdecking sanctuaries is a loss (frequently). Bottomdecking either both quints or both golems is a loss (even if you get a protected sanctuary and everything else out, not drawing any damage at all until you've got 4 cards or whatever left in your deck is going to end badly). Bottomdecking too many pillars while decay gets an early fractal is probably a loss. Etc.

That said, I do find the rainbow unupped deck to be better than the duo unupped deck, but the duo doesn't rely on pulverizers. I have found the duo unupped deck to be the top rareless unupped deck for decay, but if you have the pulverizers I'd definitely recommend the rainbow.

I'd say the pulvy rainbow (fully unupped) comes in around 75-85% win rate. I'm less accurate at guessing for the duo (fully unupped) as most of my alts have pulvies, but it feels more like 65-75%.

You've lost with that plenty of times. Bad for you, I never lost with it. Currently 13-0, 12/13 EMs. You either had very bad luck or you didn't know at the time how to use the deck correctly even if you said otherwise. Getting a Sanctuary late is not that much of an issue since you are running rainbow, which makes you more resistant to Pests. Neither this or the other deck relies on Pulverizers that much. Bottomdecking Lava Destroyers can be an issue, that's true, that's why you have hourglasses. And if you get really unlucky with them for multiple games, that's not something to generalize for. I have real stats, you only have estimates.

Since decay will fractal pests/ray of lights. will it be good to add solar shield? to gain more light quanta since he attacks a lot.

Solar shield can be stolen. Jade shield is best, because it blocks all Pest-attacks, cannot be stolen and prevents him from using drain-life on your health.

Used the second unupped deck in the OP.  Realised I already had a few upped cards, so swapped in what I had.

Managed to get EM with only 1 sanct in play.  Nice!


Also, won an upped Fractal and Upped Dusk Mantle from the spins.   8)

if u don't have the nymph use steam machine/forest spirit, upped pharaoh requires too much

I agree with Manuel. His deck worked wonders while the deck in the OP was too hard to draw the cards I needed as often as I wanted.
