So first off this is a card which I figured almost fitted with Forging, I considered Earth and Fire but thought they both have enough help at the moment.

This is a retake on another older card I had thought of that at the time I considered defunct but now figure what the heck.

This sounds like an Earth card, as most Golems are composed of mud or clay. I love the card, but is golem a standalone card?

Yes I thought about Earth but went with Gravity instead, not too sure why but it seemed right at the time. Of course that can change.

The Golem is only available through the Forge, it will not be available any other way. The only reason it has a cost is due to it being rewound.

But yeah, does feel it belong more to Earth than Gravity. 

A great idea.  Hope to see it in the game.

i don't think golem should be earth because it's made of steel.

Yes I envisioned Golem as a mechanical construct thus why was a possible fit. was another choice but I gave that up as they have a different setup. may have been the obvious but are the only element with a mechanical looking creature at this stage (Steam Machine aside).

Except for Lava Golem. And these (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4852.0.html). And Flesh Golems (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=Flesh+Golem#/d2sqp88). And have you ever played Magic? There are a lot of Golems that aren't made of rock.
