This shield isn't useless as it may appear: with the new card, aflatoxin, it's used to fully prevent the damage from a swarm of malignant cells that prevent the opponent from playing any creature as long as they live and duplicate. Look essence's latest decks for further information on this strategy.

I heard a rumor that the Skull Shield may see some change, though I haven't heard anything myself.  Has anyone else heard something?

Also, note that the cost has been changed from 3 to 2 for the non upgraded version.

Synergy with Aflatoxin, cheap shield.  The Solar Shield comes out as the most useless.

yeah i do hate the reflective shield. it it only good for decks that use spells to kill you but that rarely happens

Yes.

Notes:

1 Attack creatures cannot be changed into Skeletons.
Either a chance or cost nerf is likely going to come into place.
Skeletons may be receiving a buff (Skill similar to a Mummy combined with that of a Fate Egg).

EDIT: A creature's change into a skele does not trigger death effects such as Scavenger or Bone Wall.
