Strong synergy with Aflatoxin or an alternate way for Death to fill the enemy field with 1/1 critters.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Dunno if it's cleared up but, death effects occur (boneyard gave me more skellies) and the skeleton is un-upped wether or not your shield is, and the skeleton is kept on the opponent's side, I thought it went over to your own >.>

I believe that's intentional - the Skull Shield basically turns the OPPONENT'S creature into a skeleton once they hit the shield, instead of it become a second Boneyard/Graveyard for you to generate more skeletons. So unfortunately it's not a great way to pump out skeleton creatures, but it's pretty useful for turning those nasty low-HP but high-attack critters (Lava Destroyers, Phoenixes, etc.) into more useless attackers.

I'm loving this. I seriously was on the edge of posting this card in the buff me section, but I didn't know how to copy paste the pictures properly ec.

Awesome buff, destroys small creature rushes and actualy gives this shield a new meaning. Thanks zanz!

Btw, imagine this + 6 SoG's + PA against Eternal Phoenix.... That setup would mean win.

**edit** assuming this skill would cancel out the phoenix ash!

Tested: it's canceled XP and I just misread the card and pumped the trainer with ferals and bone shields thinking it'd come over to me hahaha

So I thought zanz didn't want any more insta-kill effects in the game. Then I see this.

The cost could be raised a bit, OR the creatures could go back to their original form if X.

All in all, seems pretty good to me. This shield needed a buff.

So I thought zanz didn't want any more insta-kill effects in the game. Then I see this.
Think of it like Fire Shield.
If the health is low, it will be killed faster. More emphasis on probability here, since every round has the exact same chance, but a lower health creature will turn before a higher health on more occasions. In this case, it is uncounterable by growth and healing, just delayed.

I really like this card now. It's a shame it still has the name skull shield, I would get rid of that and name it something without the 'meh' reputation. It didn't even lose it's synergy with aflatoxin. Impressive Zanz.

Death effects almost seem like overkill, but vulture, soul catcher and boneyard don't see that much competitive play. And this rewards high Health (like most cards should). Good card. Good work.

That's about how I'm thinking about it, which doesn't really bother me but I think it needs a cost increase to reflect that. 4|3 :death feels about right to me.

Don't forget 1-attack creatures won't trigger the shield since it prevents 1 damage
