Mitosis is an ability that, for a quanta cost, lets the creature generate a daughter creature.
The new creature is not the copy of the original creature. For example, a blessed Photon with 4|4 and Mitosis produces 1|1 Photons, not 4|4.
As the description says, flying weapons cannot be targeted by Mitosis.
Mitosis also resets the ability and statuses of the daughter creature.
The quanta cost matches the cost of the creature, unless the cost was reduced to 0 by Shard of Readiness or it obtained the ability via Mutation. Mitosis currently holds record to generate creature holding the most quanta cost: mutant Elite Phase Dragon – 14 (theory, for being not immaterial) Light Dragon – 13 (Practical)
