Part 2: AI3 and Low ArenaFamiliarizing yourself with the deckBy now, you should have owned a decent farming deck. Be it from the fun route or the fast route. You should also have a few cards won from AI3. What's next? Finish that 150 score quest and 500 score quest, of course.
Don't forget to study your opponent's deck, watch out for a new card and interesting combo. You should also learn on how to play your cards, what to prioritize and what not to.
Fun route:Take your game slowly, thinking of what card would help you the most for the next turn. This way, you'll also learn what to prioritize.
Fast route:Rush, rush, rush. A few losses could quickly be offset by a faster win. Money is your goal here.
INFO: OracleOracle is that button you can click every day. He will give you new cards and some money. Cards and money, your daily juice. Don't forget to always check the Oracle to fasten your game.
You might notice something called "False God". Just ignore that. It's an unholy abomination you can't beat right now. We will stomp them later, just be patient.
You might also notice something called "pet". Try playing an AI3 after that. You will get that creature to the upper right corner which will fight for you. Only good for 3 games, though.
Fun route:New cards to be tested! Load up your deck, do some testing, buy some copies of that if needed. Also, examine your pet and try to find out what deck works best with it.
Fast route:Cards = money. Sell it to improve your deck, or save it for later. I'll say, sell it for the upcoming section.
Building your card libraryHere is where the real game starts. Previously, you only just learn how the game works. Now, you get to play it. But how to play it if you don't have any card? Why, build your card library of course.
After each win, you can spin the slot machine up to three times. Every match three will give you the card. Of course this is slow, but you can still learn the game well while grinding. Your goal here are 2: cards and money.
Fun route:Go change your deck after a while. Sell the cards won from the spin to buy a card you want to try. But remember to also keep winning, else you'll be bankrupt.
Fast route:Remember that starter deck i gave special mention? Sell all the cards won from the spin to build them. All of them. Why?
Aether: you can learn stall here
Death: rush poison style
Earth: rush splash style
Life: rush combo style
Those technique are important, and besides, those are the most effective decks from the Deckbuilding 101 anyway. You'll need them, sooner or later.
500 score questHave you won your 500 score quest yet? Good, good. Now, check this thread, Which Rare Weapon Should I Pick as a Reward? By plastiqe. Link here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3522.0.htmlNow, this is only one of the weapons you'll get. You will win them all eventually. In fact, you might have already owned some. So, what to pick?
Fun route:Pick one of the weapons you don't already have and want to try. Then, from your card library, try making a suitable deck. Alternatively, pick a deck and pick a weapon to put into that deck.
Fast Route:1. It helps with both the Immorush and Grabbow, which in turn equals faster grinding.
2. You need either 3 Lobotomizers to be used for FG farming, or none at all. Picking 1 might as well waste it in the short run.
Entering Low Arena (As Players)Arena is full of 500 decks submitted by players. They are then given advantage, such as upgraded (improved) cards, more HP, more starting Mark, and double draw. So, you have unfair start compared to them. Why play?
1. It can give you the rares you needed (or in this case, wanted)
2. Money, dear boy. Especially Silver.
What does Low Arena mean? You see, there are four leagues in the Arena: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Bronze and Silver is called "Low Arena" because they have advantages, but still somewhat easy to beat. Gold and Platinum is called "High Arena" because you can't just go in without preparation. You need high skill to beat High Arena.
This time, we'll try Bronze and Silver arena. Play Bronze for rares, and Silver for money. If you managed to fill all the rings shown when playing Arena, you get one special spin. It's like regular spin, but you can spin the individual reels up to three times to allow yourself to win up to one rare per special spin.
Fun route:Remember your deckbuilding skill you've learned during your fight against AI3? Use it to build a deck against Bronze and Silver. You might lose a lot against Silver, but the payment is much greater. If you're almost bankrupt, then go play AI3 for some, ahem, "investment" to use against Low Arena. Don't forget to keep an eye to new cards and strategies. When winning special spin, getting anything will do.
Fast route:Grabbow or Monodark against Bronze, Immorush against Silver. You might use Grabbow or Monodark against Silver and Immorush against Bronze, but it's not tested yet. In any case, just bring the deck you've build here and play while also study the strategies the Arena decks use.
Check this thread for more decks against Low Arena:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,38675.0.htmlEntering Low Arena (As Participants)You too can submit a deck to your Arena. Remember that card the Oracle gave you earlier? Yeah, you'll get an auto 5 copies of it in your Arena deck. You can't remove or sell it, but you can make a deck which works with that card. So, what should you make?
Fun route:With your card library, try something new. Show us what you've learned. Faily decks are not bad, you're still learning after all. Don't be afraid to try something new.
Fast route:You have much more focused card library than the fun route, so you most likely can't always build a deck for any card given by the Oracle. In that case, just dump your Grabbow or Monodark there, and pray for the best. I know, underhanded, but without money, you can't build good deck, you can't expand your library, and in turn you can't make good Arena deck. So be patient.
