Thanks Higurashi, used your deck mostly, some different cards upped and others not upped and it worked as advertised! Ended up with an Electrocutor on top of it.

used an unupgraded variant of higurashi...works really nice! havent tested majofas variant, as i think novas can really help to put your combo down asap.

if anybody wants to know:

I saw the first deck and had the urge to make an upgraded one based off of it, since I got plenty of them. I came up with this:
Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 74a 74a 74a 7ak 7ak 7ak 7an 7an 7an 7td 7td 7td 80h 80h 80hWhy bother destroying Eclipses when you have Jade Shield? :)
I could imagine it going wrong if you don't get a lot of Towers to start with, or if Decay steals them too soon. An EM is what I got with it though ;D Still 7 cards left in my deck, too.

Have not tested this deck, but it should be quite powerful against Decay:

Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52l 52l 52l 52n 52n 52p 52p 52s 52s 52s 52s 52u 52u 52u 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lf 5lf 5lfTrying to form unupped/rareless here - it has no renewable healing, so if you have them, SoGs can offset his Electrocutor.  Aflatoxin should be played on a Pest ASAP, then Holy Light/Plague to kill the rest.  Aflatoxin/Plague can be used again while the cells are growing in order to weed out any remaining Pests.  Blessing on Deathstalker for the kill.

He shouldn't ever build up enough :darkness to kill you with Siphon Life, so Reflective Shield should be unnecessary... the unupped version's worthless against Cells anyway.  As for Siphons against the Deathstalkers, see if you can have him waste them on Skeletons.

Gonna do some tests on this now.
----------
OK, first test had only two Pillars.  Going to have to put more in there, denial was brutal.

Second test: scrapping this whole idea because I forgot about Steal.  Skull Shield is worthless, I ended up killing myself with Cells.

It's not a bad idea, you just need a few upgrades for mirror shield, which protects itself from steals and you from cells and siphons. Blessings probably aren't that necessary since eclipse will buff deathstalkers anyway. Maybe add a few more though so you don't deck out in case of a bad draw and against dusk mantle.

Yeah, but I was going for 100% unupped.  Maybe drop Light and work with Earth instead for Enchant Artifact?

Earth doesn't have any way to remove pests though. The other option would be life, but it doesn't have CC either. Maybe you could do a combo with adrenaline and malignant cells to simply fill up his board before he plays more than a few pests. Then the remaining aflatoxins are all the CC you need.

Plague and Aflatoxin are probably enough if you get a little lucky and/or play them smart.

Great job with the unupped version.  Here's the upped deck I use:

Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 74a 74a 74a 7ak 7ak 7ak 7td 7td 7td 7td 80h 80h 80h 80hAs others have pointed out, if you can get out a shield and one quinted, buffed vamp, the game is yours.  I just won a game without a shield where he pulled a third turn Eclipse.

I have not had a chance to test this deck, so this is just a concept, not an actual deck.
The idea is to make this possible unupped giving him a +1 buff from your own night fall, and eclipses do not stack or replace the +1 buff :)

Does this even sound feasible?
