I run with -6 entropy pends, +2 dark pends, and +4 amethyst pillars lately, but yeah, swapping them a little seems to be enough to get around SoFos.

I used a mostly upgraded version of EvaRia's deck, and it worked like a charm for an EM:

IMHO, the reliance on SNs is a good move now that Akebono has the SoFos. The trick, obviously, relates to the timing of Sundials wrt his SoFos. The AI tends to play SoFos as early as possible, which you can work to your advantage. Let him explose a few towers before playing your sundials. In a pinch, you might have to play two Sundials at a time, I guess. I didn't have to worry about that, luckily, because his second SoFo didn't come out until I had LA's his Chimera.

I think pillarless Splat is one of the best counters now that Akebono has SoFo. Have only lost once in 8 matches due to very bad draw.

I didn't draw a nymph's tear : I was toast in 5 turns.
Too much luck dependant imho.

You'll discover that certain FGs can simply be amazingly fast and that no deck will winn 100% against them. Akebono can be one of the fastest, if it gets the right draw to start. So, if you lost in 5 turns, it doesn't mean the deck needs reworking, it just means Akebono was in the groove that match.

The nymph tear version works like a charm: basically the "infinite" liquid shadows allows you to prevent sofos.
