Elemental Popularity! Which one is your favorite?

A very simple poll that I'm surprised no one ever put up EVER in the forums (unless someone has, and I skipped over it at some point, but whatever).



Anyway, the question:

What is your favorite element and why? If you don't have a favorite element, why not?

For me, it's hands down going to be time - I've always wished that I could control time and be given abilities to have more time to do anything and everything (finishing homework, sleeping, thinking about stuff, undoing accidents, etc.). Game-play wise, the hourglass has been incredibly symbolic (alongside Eternity) that reflects my thoughts about the element as a whole; speed things up to get what you want, and undo things (decking out, dealing with major monsters, etc.) that will be problematic. Even my avatar (which was upgraded finally XD) displays my love of time as a whole, and even though I won't be the one challenging PuppyChow for the title, I'm still happy that I found my niche in this game.

Anyway, select your favorite element (whether you like it in terms of the cards, the philosphy/ideas behind the element, decks that you use, etc.). You can change your vote in case you realized that the element you loved appears to be less... appealing for you, or you decided to explore another element and found that one more fun.

...and NO, there is no 'I love all of them!' option yet, because not everyone can be a rainbow.

Guess what I voted for?

Aether is awesome because:

1) It's pure. Untainted. Nothing can harm it. Ever.
2) It is everywhere. Always.
3) It has the best anti-creature control cards in the game. Creature control is one of the cornerstones of this game. And Aether essentially eliminates it. How cool is that?
4) I'm the Master of it.
5) It's the first of the elements alphabetically and awesomely!
6) In SSBB, Ike's up special is Aether. Ike is AWESOME.

Pfft. Aether has nothing on Earth. In fact, aether has only 2 immortal creatures, and arguably quintessence. Earth has 3, burrowed Antlion, burrowed Shrieker, and Graboid. It's got the only was to protect permanents, and also the only way to destroy multiple ones with a single card. Earth decks can give themselves a potential +300 max hp, which is a lot. It also has the highest buff card in the game, and the longest stall card.

If that wasn't enough, it's huge, and you very probably live on it.

Earth wins.

Of course Quintessence. And it can make ANY creature immortal. That's way more flexible than your silly wannabe Aether denizens.

Earth has 3, burrowed Antlion, burrowed Shrieker, and Graboid.

But you have to Burrow them. They're not really immortal. They're FAKE. They're WANNABES. Graboid is the only real one, and he only does 2 damage. Hilarious.

Blessing is the same when you add the stats, Rage Potion is better if you take the absolute value of the stats, and Chaos Power is better given luck. You lie. Armor is useless without Rage.

Nope. I don't. Saturn is my current residence. The STARS and the PLANETS reside in Aether. It's even bigger.

Obviously, from the result turning up right now, life is the most popular element. What is not to like about life? It's vigorous, fun and it's the fastest mono in the game. And won't everyone here delete their element account without any hesitation if it can make them live one year longer? That perfectly shows the attraction of life to everyone playing this game, life all the way!

Well, with immolation and a terrific draw, a fire deck can be faster than a mono life, but that fire deck would need things like photon and sparks which makes them no longer mono. Ash eater would work, but it will still hinder them to the point that they are not as fast as a life mono. When doing PVP, I win most games against a fire deck with my life mono although I come close to death every time. The ones I lose is mostly because of fire's creature control or non-mono fire with immolation and a terrific draw. So, I'd say life, mono is faster than fire because creature control isn't part of fast and those super fast immolation decks are not mono decks.
As for earth's shrieker rush, I would have to say it's likely faster than life, but I don't know if that's still true after graboids are nerfed.

Death.  I profit off of all of everything's demise.  That, and despite the fact that my decks rely on creature control to survive and flourish, Aether isn't invincible despite all the advantages Icy tries to state.
