"Why is my name not listed?"

It could be because of one or more of the following reasons:

- I haven't read your application yet.
- All the positions in the job you wanted, have already been filled.
- Very low post count. This sucks but the good old post count favoritism works here as well. Many members with low post count, tend to disappear after the initial excitement. Become more active and the job is yours.
- I haven't assigned that particular job yet

Bottom line is that everything is still very chaotic because I didn't organize this whole recruiting process very efficiently. Even though you don't have a job yet, you probably will soon have one. I'd like to give all who are interested, the ability to help, because this is supposed to be a community project. Stay tuned.

Apart from the Main Organizer, all WoE Organizers can (and should) participate in the event. You can hold multiple titles and participate in both the planning and execution. Number of roles here is just and estimate, and will be tweaked according to what the workload turns out to be. More roles will be added later.

If you are interested in helping out the community and having tons of fun in the process, please pick a role you think would be most suitable for you, and post a short application either on this topic or PM it directly to Scaredgirl (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=1).

Please include a short explanation on why you would be perfect for the job. For example if you want to be an artist, remember to include some of the art you have previously produced. Thanks.

At this stage we are looking for people in the planning stage. Execution stage jobs will be assigned once first beta gets closer.

PLANNING Main Organizer Scaredgirl Lore Loremaster writes material for WoE and acts as chief editor having the final say in what material gets added in the event. Gl1tch Writers write all the written material you see in WoE, like quests and dialogue. Nyma DragonZProductions Daxx Bloodshadow Jangoo Higurashi Kuross Art Artists produce all the art used in the event. wizelsnarf Kamietsu Artist #3 Artist #4 Artist #5 Artist #6 Map Map Coder is in charge of the technical production of WoE map. Planplan Map Designers design the map by placing towns, resources, fast travel etc. in correct places. Designer #1 Designer #2 Designer #3 City City Designers are in charge of city topics which include all the different things you find inside a city, like shops, taverns, etc. The dictator 918273645 Krahhl $$$man Dragoon Battle Mechanics Designers & Testers design and test WoE battle mechanics. xdude Designer #2 Designer #3 Deckbuilders Deckbuilders design and test decks that will be used by hostile NPC's. For example some kind of spirit could be guarding the Tree of Life, and deckbuilders need to build a deck for that spirit. The whole event has probably 50-100 NPC decks. Deckbuilder #1 Deckbuilder #2 Deckbuilder #3

EXECUTION Main Organizer Scaredgirl Character Management Main Character Manager is in charge of WoE character sheets and makes sure that Character Managers ae doing their job. Main Character Manager Character Managers are in charge of the character sheets of their element. Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer Organizer xdude Organizer Organizer Moving Around Main Mover makes sure that Movers are doing their job, acting as a replacement if needed. Main Mover Movers move players around the map. They also activate certain events caused by players using action points. Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Mover Quests Quest Organizers assign quests and rewards. Organizer #1 Organizer #2 Combat Fight Organizers start a topic each round that lists all the duels that are happening during that round. xdude Organizer #2 NPC Opponents fight as NPC's when players encounter hostile NPC characters during a quest, or when trying to conquer a resource. Anyone who wants to help, will get a change to do so. If you are talking about the "WoE Main Organizer" title, that's going to be done by me during the first WoE. Later I will pass on the torch to someone else. It's basically the same system I used with War and it worked out perfectly.

The main argument against you being the Main Organizer is the fact that you (like myself) are not a native speaker of the English language. The problem with that is that as a Main Organizer, you represent not only yourself, but the whole event, which is why having a native speaker would be a huge plus. If you use bad grammar, it could give the impression that the event is run by amateurs.

As an example, the above short post you wrote contains 3 typos. That's not going to cut it I'm afraid. I know it's not particularly fair because you didn't get to pick your native language, but that's how it goes.

But no worries, like I said, there are many other options available. I will post some of them today. After being sick for a wekk or so (again!) I finally managed to make a comeback and will start working on WoE daily.

Fantastic. Consider this my application for a Writer position, in that case. I've been looking to find a creative project to get my teeth into.

I'm perfect for the job because I have a solid command of English; I'm capable of writing lengthy pieces of prose, whether they be mostly descriptive or dialogue heavy, but more importantly I know how to be concise as well as loquacious.
