Mummy...Get a Life!!!

So here's my stab at a / EM deck.  It uses the brute force of flesh recluse and mummy combines with the awesomeness of heal to make a pwnzor combo.

With 200 games of testing, it has a ttw of 7.128 and and EM rate of 60.3%

As always let me know any suggestions?

Hmm...Life and Death?

Couldn't you basically take any good mono deck, toss in a life mark and heals, maybe tweak it a bit, and call it an EM deck?

Not exactly, EM decks are more difficult to get right than you think.  While it looks like you just toss a few heals in great care has to be used to assure 1.) the deck EM's at a high right and 2.) the deck is fast enough to make it worth it.  Due to the nature of these decks life, fire, and death and rainbow are really the only elements that can do it consistantly.  You need 2 solid midrage attackers, or a quanta generation source other than pillars for an EM deck to work efficiently.  Darkness has cards to do it as well, but they tend to be slower.

Agreed with jmdt. I tried my own deck like this, only to find I couldn't get the creatures to the field at a speed where I wouldn't need 3-4 heals for the EM, which is rather difficult to have waiting in your hand on the last turn.

This, on the other hand allows a decent EM rate rather than my crappy ~5%.

The Ivory Dragons are there for threat redundancy. The deck is already saturated with Mummies and Recluses, so any additional attackers must be Ivory Dragons. They, of course, are the cards to look at when considering a swap for something like Deadly Poison.

I had moderate success with a Death/Life/Gravity version, with Bonds, Graveyards, and Otys.  This was before Pendulums, so it actually might be faster now with certain tweaks.

After this I think I'm done with EM decks for a while, the rest are just too difficult to pull off.  Maybe a / one, but I doubt its worth doing.  The darkness cards are slower in general.

Alright, after JMDT and I ran a quick pvp, the dragons in MGAL (YES, dragons!) helped a ton for him. Frog rush (6 frog, 6 cockatrice, 6 heal, 5 life pillars/5 pendulums (life) [all upgraded]) got seriously pwned. Dragons ftw! Anyway, MGAL is definitely amazing, fun, and overall very well done on the EM.
