Aflatoxin is an ability that, for a quantum cost, adds 2 cumulative poison counters to a target creature. When the poisoned creature dies it creates a Malignant Cell.

The creature does not have to die from the poison; it has to be killed in any way.

If the creature is already poisoned, the poison damage is increased and aflatoxin is inflicted.

The only known exception from creating a malignant cell is using infect ability of the poisoned creature. Whether it is a bug is not known.
