Hey, what happens if you mutate a poisoned creature? Is the resulting mutant still poisoned?

Yes, that's always been the case, as the creature never dies in the process of mutating. It's still the same creature, so it is still affected by status effects it carried before.

It seems that bug hasn't been fixed. On a side note, I'm not exactly a fan of infection/aflatoxin counters located right in the middle of a creature. It looks... bad.
Agreed. Putting it right on the creature kinda blocks it out, both literally and metaphorically. I liked the old way better.

The problem with the old way is that the poison counters were often invisible due to a full field.

What about in the lower lefthand corner instead, that way its visible for all 3 levels without blocking the card.

Not anymore. The top row is now on top of the middle row, instead of behind it, so that we can now see the stats and skills of creatures on the top row.
