Shield | Tower Shield

Cool, cool.  Was actually recently thinking of a need for an "other" shield.  A little expensive for the upgrade to play, but worth it being that it can fit in any deck that cant use an elemental shield with damage resistance if needed and can also replace elemental shields to make a deck less heavy on that element.  I ran into a similar problem when I tried using Diamond Shield in my Heavy Metal deck, "Heal and Protect."  Having the choice between it and Gravity Shield, Gravity Shield was the better option in cost, but I would have preferred numerically damage resistance, and that would make the deck just a tad Earth heavy for my taste. 

The unupgrade could use a cost raise, if I am correct it makes a lot of shields obsolete.  I suggest it being 3 or 4.
EDIT: actually it just makes the Skull shields obsolete, being that they are 3 | 2 and both only block 1.

Am I the only one that finds 'alternative' fortunes rather... rude?  I understand that one wants to think they are improving a fortune that the Voice of the Oracle makes, but it seems like every time Essence makes a fortune at least two other people post their version.  I may not agree with Essence's fortunes at times, but I know I cannot do better.

Yep, only one. I don't think they want to improve it at all. If they wanted that, they'd say it, not just "my version". While Essence isn't infallible, I don't think anyone's unhappy with the work he's done so far. That said, constructive critique has to be allowed. For instance, Mitosis.

I want to make one thing straight
I have no problem whatsoever with essence's oracles
I just wanted to share what I came up with
