Obliterator likes to PA his Pulverizer, so I'm not sure if SoGs would work consistently enough.

What does it matter if he PAs it considering at the most all you could do is Crusade it

I was referring to the SoGs in Avenger's deck. I don't think they would last long since he'd have a protected Pulverizer smashing them.

The SoG's protect your lobo until you can spawn crusaders. Once you built up your lobo saders and got 10 rol's out you won the game.
You don't need to grab his pulvy, you need lobo to remove momentum from his critters only.
And this deck was not specifically built for Obliterator. Napalm told me she uses it for multiple FG's. I just noticed this deck has a very high winning chance against Obliterator.

Paradox the shriekers before they burrow and anti-shadow only the dragons, and it's a piece of cake. Even with no dark pends in my opening hand he was crushed.

Nice deck, wish I won with an EM but the upped shrieker he gave me made up for it

If your going to use that you should definetly go for some Pendulums.  I like this...

Won with this today.  Works well enough, but no EM.  Its also very tight on quanta at the beginning when the choice is Maxwell's or AM.  Maybe -1 Maxwell's -1 Quint +2 Pends?

Also, the OP needs to be updated pretty badly.  It should probably have some sort of upped variant as well.  Thanks as always majofa!
