I really think having to pay 11 :earth to protect a permanent AND only as long as Terrasque is in play is much worse than PA, and 2 attack is nothing when facing any kind of shield or healing.
Most control decks have shields or healing or ways of removing a creature without problem.
Against aggro decks Terrasque is useless.

Ability to change the protected permanent is barely useful, especially in mono-earth, and I can't imagine a duo/rainbow deck eager to gather 11 :earth just to protect some permanent.

My suggestion:
make Terrasue protect creatures instead. Something like " :earth :earth :earth : As long as Terrasque remains in play, target creature is untargetable. Terrasque cannot be made untargetable by any means."

This way he would offer something new, rather than duplicating PA. He would also have a nice synergy with plate armor, basilisk blood (you won't be able to protect any more creatures for 6 turns, but Terrasque is harder to kill) and Auburn Nymph.
It wouldn't be overpowered though due to his high cost and the fact you can remove protection through removing Terrasque. Rewind and mutation would remove protection from all creatures, while lobo, freeze or basilisk blood would only make him unable to use his ability to protect any more creatures.

Problems I see with this solution though: probably needs a lot of work to implement, and creates a new status similar to immortality and being burrowed.

So, if that's too much, then probably an ability to burrow any creature would be nice... especially if he could burrow opposing creatures too.
+ karma for awesome idea. use this.

this card is underpowered. 8 cost for a stat sum of 8 is a little low, not to mention it can only make 1 permanent... well PERMANENT (in a sense).
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

nymph - uber ultimate rare of power
Anubis - 2 elements. thus balancing it.
this card, all permanents you play are protected forever the minute you play them.
I assume all the mounts would be rare if they were added so something like PA on a stick but when it dies those permanents lose there ability, and it can't be immortal

CURATOR COMMENT
- No Activity to address  balance concerns
- Switching in and out of abilites is not a fun thing to do. Try and work the ability into one action.

Definitely liking this card more and more I look at it. It's durable (6-8 HP), has an impressive ability that costs a decent amount of quanta, and looks like it could work in certain duo-decks (especially :time/ :earth, gotta protect the first hourglass somehow XD). Since it can only EA/PA one permanent at a time, it brings an element of strategy on what you need to protect (towers, healing permanents, your weapon, etc.).

I'm going to assume that when Terrasque dies, the 'Enshrine' effect is removed from the permanent in question, right?

4 earth for a non perfect PA???
Anything that removes the critter from game also removes the protection.
The only benefit is to be able to move protection, in one card's cost.
I think 2 or 3 earth would be enough, you can have only one of these in the game, that is balancing enough.
Its 2 attack is covered by its huge initial cost.

You could raise its defense a bit, about double?
Or its attack, the picture shows a terrible monster. Or maybe it is only an inch in size :D

You made the terrasque a 2/6 monster? I'm sorry, but  that just doesn't fly with me. I like the idea (though it's too expensive now imho) but you should change the name.

The terrasque, it eats dragons for breakfast.

I think your confusing Terrasque the Earth-Lizard with Tarrasque http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarrasque_(Dungeons_&_Dragons)
