Actually, it wasn't really the shriekers that were relevant in my fights with him -- it was the uberity of SoG+Diamond Shield vs. an opponent that could remove neither. :)

I can relate SO MUCH. Puppy's SoGs and stupid Turtle Shield were INSANE. Argh.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this competition should not have included 'other' cards. If, as SG has said before, part of this competition is to discover imbalances between elemental matchups. Shard of Gratitude slows the game down so much that some elements can't do what they do best, while other elements are allowed enough turns to set up and do what they do best. If anything, this competition has shown that once again, SoG defines and dominates limited formats.
