Sorry for being the tardy one. ._.
Life is getting in the way. xD
Anyways,
Jewel (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27009) opens the doors to decks which have not been seen before. Specializing in low-cost creature economy, Jewel takes a sacrifice and produces energy that can power an unstable deck.
And which Nymph loves her
blang? Nymph Queen of course! (...and her tears.) Yes, this little number opens doors to the Nymph territory, no longer specifically needing pillars, so long as you have cheap creatures and a mark to power them with! Turquoise Nymphs can be pumped out with
essentially a Mono Water with Sparks and Jewels. Deadly.
Jewel can also take advantage of near useless creatures on one's side of the field as well.
Delayed or frozen army? Feel like they could be better put to use? Essence them and you've got yourself earlier replacements. ^_^Liquid Shadow about to annihilate your beautiful vampire? Let it leave its memento, Essence it for $4.99/lb with a one time use of Jewel. ^_^ Not to mention it works excellently with the Death theme that
so lovingly embraces, Jewel works in perfect harmony with Farenheit and the Phoenix. Eep.
Jewel completes the cycle. Energy is used to summon creatures and Jewel absorbs that energy to amplify it and later, emit it. No longer must our hard earned energy go to waste due to hard CC.
Jewel's beauty is in its versatility. It supports decks, makes new ones and creates new situational synergies. Nymph Queen has always been rather tricky to use, she has needed her crown. Let's give it to her!
