NOTES:
Charge is a new mechanic that this serie introduces. While charging, the card is delayed and a counter appears in the upper right corner - just as in Phase Shield. The number is, however, increasing at the end of each turn, and it starts at 0.
A card with the active ability "Charge" starts not charging and, starting from its second turn in play, can start to charge. When it does, the ability becomes "Uncharge", and has the same cost.
If a card has the active ability "Uncharge", it means it enters play as charging, and can be uncharged from its second turn.
This is only the Air version of the card, but ideally it is thought to be one for every element: you just need to adjust names and quanta cost / gain to fit every element.
Only 6 of these per deck.
SERIES:
Charge Serie (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25260.0.html)
It starts as charging. It doubles the quanta production of a normal pillar, but delays it and requires a price.

The idea was inspired by the Idea Factory's threads, and it's the start of the "Charge Serie". It may need balancing and tweaking, but I think the concept is sound: you trade some quanta and delay the production in order to gain more of whatever quanta you needed. Works best in monos, but strengthen about every stall in the game. It's also very strong vs denial (but is stopped by hard denial - like Pestal - due to requiring a cost for its activation), and weakens Discord a bit. Think about it and give feedback, please.

Hmm, my one real concern is what firestall could do with a card like this. Since its whole point is to build up quanta, a card that takes a small investment but gives huge returns seems iffy.

Yeah, that's true. It strengthen bolt stalls, which is not a brilliant idea as they are strong enough already. But, I think the problem has more to do with the bolts than with the quantum production, is it not? It's not like a lot of other stalls wouldn't benefit from a bit of variation in the quanta production. Also, rushes have Immolation and Nova: what do stalls have?

Should you put "Charging," in the first line, above everything else?

It could be an idea. It would probably help clarify the mechanics in-game.

I changed it to match patch's suggestion.

I'm still in need of feedback on the mechanic, though. Is it OP? UP? Broken? Borked? Insignificant?

How do people feel about the fact that the way it is now would allow you to play multiple air blitzes in a single turn?

Well that's an intresting point. The aether version would allow for multiple Fractals too, provided you saved two Towers in you hand.

Remember that you still need to pay the :air :air discharging cost, so you need either a Supernova or two Towers to make it work. It may not be that bad, in fact...

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou cast the Wind Pool. Then, shalt thou count to four. No more. No less. Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, nor either count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out. Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then, discharge thou thy Wind Pool towards thy quanta pool, which, being small in My sight, shall grow.'

Long story short, except in rare circumstances discharging every 4 charges (5 turns) is optimal.
LOL Is Thy Holy Handgrenade of Antioch. I am just afraid of how powerful Firestalls would become. the cards needs to fractal or skyblitz would be pretty hard to pull although 2 sky dragons on the field dived = 26 *2 sky blitz =52 *2 =104  so 2 skydragons 1 pool 2 skyblitz 2 towers. I would be one of the easiest OTKs to pull off since towers are filloing the deck making it essentially a 5 card combo.

How come, OT? I would have said it was "discharge when you really need it, because you're gaining a lot every turn..."

How come, OT? I would have said it was "discharge when you really need it, because you're gaining a lot every turn..."
Because Excel told me so. (I am double checking the equation now since it is a counter intuitive result)
2(x-1)-3 is the quanta gained when this is discharged x turns after the first discharge.
N is the number of turns in the game
( 2(x-1)-3 ) x (N/x) is the total quanta produced
Nvm. I had an extra 1/x in the equation. The Mormegil is right. Discharging it at the last moment, despite being less funny, is more optimal by far.
