NOTES:
The attack triggered by the Sing ability happens instantly.
During the attack, the creature behaves as if it were on the opposite side of the table.
Friendly creatures can be targeted.
Status effects on the target creature behave normally, so Antimatter would heal the target.
The target's shield is taken into account normally, and can affect the target creature.
The target creature will behave normally on its next turn.
SERIES:
None

1. If i read the notes correctly, change the description to "The target creature will attack its master for 1 turn."
2. Add the  :darkness icon to the description in the card.

Otherwise, everything's fine I think. The balance is good, and I love how you used a real mythical creature and adapted it to Elements style.

1. It's instantaneous, like using a Fire Bolt.  When the Enchantress uses her ability, the damage of the target creature is instantly inflicted against the opponent, and then on the opponent's turn, the creature can still attack you normally.  I figured "controlling" the creature with a renewable ability was a bit OP.  This is only intended to punish an opponent for playing a creature with high attack, not to lock something out.

2. I'm using http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/card.html to make these cards.  I will totally love you if you tell me how to do that with it!

1. Ok I get what you mean now.
2. If you upload the image you used to www.imageshack.com (http://www.imageshack.com) and post the link here, I can make you the card using Photoshop.

Oh, I can do that myself.  Just did, in fact.  I was hoping for something more convenient... :)

I should add that ANY creature can be targeted.  This means you can use an Antimattered creature to heal yourself.

This counts as a TURN for the creature, so poison will inflict damage.  Use this against a player with Ice Shield, Fire Shield, etc. to inflict various effects on the creature!  Use it on a flying Discord to scramble the enemy's quanta.  (Not that I've ever seen someone use flying Discord...)

Empathic Bonds would not be triggered, that only happens at the end of the player's turn.

I would actually change it to "The target creature attacks its master for 1 turn." This way you can make the other player pay while keeping yourself from getting hurt.

Thanks to both of you for the compliments and the critique!

I thought of doing that, but I chose this instead because 1) the control version would require implementing another temporary status, and we already have Frozen and Delayed, and 2) I didn't want the effect to totally lockout a creature.  If you had a field of 5 or 6 of these and a good supply of Darkness quanta, it would amount to paralyzing your opponent.  Instead it just matches him stroke for stroke.

This is just supposed to be a midrange hitter that creates a disincentive to play high-attack creatures or to grow your creatures very large.

Example deck I came up with in a few minutes:
Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i7 5i7 5i8 5i8 5ih 5ih 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um
Replace all Photons with Enchantresses.  Devourers and Enchantresses come out ASAP, Flooding allows you to guarantee control over all but one creature unless dealing with Quint, and Ice Bolt finisher.  Freeze is to give you another option if you're low on health or an enemy creature has a nasty ability.

Disadvantage: unless your opponent plays some heavy hitters or you have Sirens instead, this deck kills slowly.  But then Water has always been more about control than about rushing.

Thoughts?  I'd really love to hear from the Curator on this card, so it can qualify for the Crucible.

Another interesting tactical function of this creature's ability: if you have a frozen or delayed creature on your team, you can use this to speed up recovery.
