But it wouldn't hinder their ability to be the type of card you refer to them as; even if it has that ability you could still use it as a standard mummy card, except with this it would also help with its alternative use.

To set up a mummy/reverse time deck, you need a trio of

to utilize the scarab's devour ability. To help reduce the cost of this trio I propose that Mummys receive an "evolve" ability that allows them to transform into pharaohs for *two* time quanta. (to match the cost of RT without using it)

I would use at least 4 SoGs and 2 sancs for healing, although the sundials might help reduce need for heal..but imo 3 SoGs isnt enough healing to keep u alive :O

Knight/Templar is way too similar to crusader, so you are probably going to have to re-do that aspect. I think the buff is a little drastic, maybe unupped you should increase the attack to 7, and upped 9 attack. Other than that, pretty nice card idea.
