Pretty much any buff, sure.  The upgraded version benefits a lot from Blessing/Chaos Power.

I like it...looks like essence is on an anti-Rol/Hope streak... anyways, maybe you could rename Raptor to like "Falcon" or "Hawk" or "Eagle" or something else because when I think raptor i think dinosaur.... or maybe that's just me who knows

AnotheBrother, the 'raptor' from a dinosaur is a shortening of Velociraptor -- whereas birds of prey have been collectlively referred to as raptors for centuries.

And yes, SilentShadow, it only gains attack from 1 HP enemy creatures unbuffed.

How would you put the three elements together so that it makes an effective and quick rush?

Harakiri, I tried to make it clear that the ATK bonus was only while attacking -- so no, it's not permanent.

Quick wording revision: upped card description needs to say Raptor instead of Bird of Prey, and both versions can drop the last two words ("than it"). That phrase is awkward and unnecessary.
