Oops, my bad, I was looking in the wrong section and got them mixed up.  ???  If a curator could move this to the correct section that would be appreciated.

Bump. I've decided that some of the cards that I will design will not be gameplay related to the Sages but will have some kind of Bio that will explain how there are related thematically. Also, from now on every Sage gets a Haiku (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku)!

:air
Air, free as the wind.
Shifting independently.
Take flight again, birds.
:darkness
Darkness, a hand's sleight.
Manipulation, not evil.
Heroes of Night.
:time
Time, straightfoward path.
A neverending story.
Still so many splints.
:fire
Fire, the blazing spark.
Poof, a dramatic entrance.
Warmth to heart and soul.
I would really like feedback on this series (and the individual cards) because I plan to put a lot of thought and design into it.

It would really stink if that person you're facing is a master of illusion and you use Drak adepts power not knowing this guy has 10 dark quanta.  :)) ::)

I might be wrong, but I thought a Haiku was supposed to go 5 7 5? E. G:

Beginning thunder
Beginning to hurricane
Running to shelter

Be|ginn|ing |thun|der (5)
Be|ginn|ing |to| hur|ri|cane (7)
Runn|ing |to| shel|ter (5)

Also, I really like this idea. :)

The air one is really good, but the others have slight discrepancies:
Dark|ness,| a| hand's| slei|ght. (6)
Ma|nip|ul|ation,| not| evil. (7)
He|roes| of |Night. (4)

Time,| straight|for|ward| path. (5)
A| nev|er|end|ing |story. (6)
Still| so| many| splints. (4)

Fire,| the| blaz|ing| spark. (5)
Poof,| a| dra|matic| en|trance. (6)
War|mth| to| heart| and| soul. (6)

Although, the problem with haikus is the number of syllables can change depending on how you pronounce things, so your haikus could seem wrong to me based on how I say things.  :))

Yeah, you're right, I do pronounce the words differently.  :))  But thanks for the advice - if you ever find one of my Haikus odd-sounding just remember that the thought counts. :)

I think you were right the first time with the word "fire". It is one syllable. You can't argue with the dictionary! (okay, technically you can, but you can't win!)
