you may all know this deck from Turns to win study (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8813.0.html).
i post this deck here, so jmdt can link it properly ;)

this is a deck designed for one purpose only: speed
one goal of this deckdesign was to tweak the quantagain and the numbers of creatures to achieve maximum consistent and an early high dmg output.

no pc, no cc -- just pull out what you can as fast as you can-- and win.
average turns to win on lvl3: 5.40 (200 games)
fastest win possible on 100 hp: 3turns

This is one of my favorite decks in the game and a great AI3 farmer and my prefered T50 farmer.  This is the fastest deck I've had the privelege of using.

Anyone been testing the new pendulums in this?

I've been trying to add them in because in many games you exhaust your  :earth supply.  Specifically, +4 pendulums and -4 towers.   All pendulums does not work well.   

The extra  :earth is particularly helpful vs decks that have CC (such as you find in T50) and eliminate your first destroyer. 

The problem with testing is that this change has no real effect vs AI3.   It only helps for those slightly longer games vs more complex decks.

i tryed this deck with pendulums (3 pendulums -3 towers). and you are right, on ai3 they arent a big improvment.
sometimes i missed the fire quanta if i wasnt able to cremate.
pendulums are great if you draw them in the midgame or you have enough fire anyway.

you need much more fire then earth, so i would say have more fire pillars then pendulums sounds good.

i didnt test it on t50 so far. im mostly using my speedbow for t50 grinding, or my anti-rainbow deck.

I've been testing pendulums in my fire rush (kartis's, the link is at the bottom of the first post, kartis is me btw...) and of the 5 Towers I originally had, 1 is now a pendulum. Ive had several times wehre i've wished it was a tower because I needed 1 more fire quanta, but then, even more times where i've wanted a tower to be a pendulum. As far as I can tell though, the fire quanta is much more important and for this deck, I might try 6 towers, 2 pendulums. Then try 5/3. 4/4 seems to be like too much. if  you win in 5.4 turns, how many golems do you really need to keep up?

Heh I just beat Incarnate with this deck. I got him on my oracle, and didnt feel like switching decks, and figured with the infection mechanics and how they effect growing creatures I'd have a chance. And sure enough, I won :P. Admittedly one bone wall wouldve screwed me, but I've noticed in the past he pretty much always plays yards over walls so a good rush can beat the walls out generally.

you need them all  ;D. you dont need them all to play, but you need them to draw early.
10 damage-only creatures in this deck seems a good amount to reach a nice speed.

if you want to replace something for tweaking:
gavel/1-2 dragon, pillars for pendulums (in my sight not more then 3 pendulums).

Yeah, the ONLY thing that could possibly speed this guy up is maybe 1 or 2 pendalums, but they are not needed and I doubt they would help.

I use it with 2 pendelums and I do think they help. If you are able to get 1-2 destroyers in first couple turns, you have to stop groing one after only a turn or 2 if you dont have pendelums. Also, even just 1 pendelum and no towers in start is enough to play a minor phoenix 2nd turn if that is your only cremation target in  your hand, so it still serves what is imo the most important function of towers in this deck.

I play with 2 pendulums for PvP or T50, but against AI3 they just slow the deck down

Heh I've never used it on ai3 so yeah I wouldnt know :P. For ai3 I prefer a mastery deck, but this one works nice for t50/pvp.
