That art is just wonderful, and I would even say cute. Nice shadow, little mouth and tongue, and it looks like it wants to give you a very slimy hug too

A nasty counter to a Thorn Carapace, too. Just curious - why give it high HP?
Well, for two major reasons:
1) To fight off against CC (ironically enough); I figure that with the majority of Death cards having low HP for various reasons (Virus having its own Sacrifice ability, Flesh Recluse being a cheap yet strong attacker, vulture gaining HP/ATK for each creature killed, etc.), Death could have a creature with pretty decent HP. The Grey Nymph is an exception, but alas, it's also rare. Plus, Rage Potion would be a lovely combo.

2) I had to justify the mid-high cost somehow. It requires

each turn to boost its ATK by 1, which... may not be very efficient in the long run for some players who plan on using its Infect ability that way.
