PHASE 1 - Vote Completed!
Vote has ended and points have been awarded. Results can been seen at the bottom of this post.
PHASE 2 - Proving of Worthiness Completed!
This phase is different in each Trial. It usually has something to do with helping out the community, but it can also be something where you show your skills as an Elements player. It's divided into 2 parts, both scoring 5 points if you complete them. A Challenger can skip this phase if he or she so chooses.
Part 1 for Challengers is to design 2
unique decks and post them on the forums, with explanation and strategy tips included. Also post links to your 2 deck threads in Trials section (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,112.0.html) of your element.
Build these:
- A mono-deck of the element they are challenging
- A duo-deck with at least half the cards from the element they are challenging
Masters have already finished part 1 of this phase.
Part 2 of this phase is related to new Wiki project. As you probably know, we have added all the cards to the Wiki. What we need now is strategy tips for each card. This is a huge project that will probably take months to complete but once it's ready, it's going to be awesome.
This part of the same for both challengers and Masters.
What you need to do is this:
1. Pick 3 cards from your element
2. Post the 3 card names on the "Phase 2 thread" (so that other people don't pick the same ones)
3. Write strategy tips for each of the 3 cards
4. Post your strategy tips on the "Phase 2 thread"
Your strategy tips should include:
- in what kind of decks the card is generally used
- pro tips on how the card should be used
- also list 3 other cards that work well with your card (just mentioning names is enough)
You can also write about other things if you want. Use current wiki and forums as a source for information.
Strategy tips for each card should be at least 200 words (you can count the words here (
http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/countwords.shtml)).
Please do not add your strategy tips directly in the Wiki. Like I said, post them on the "Phase 2 thread". This is because the layout haven't been decided yet. Thanks. Oh, and when I move your strategy tips to Wiki, I will give you credit of course by attaching your name on the article.
As always, this phase gives you 5 points once completed. You can skip it if you want.
PHASE 3 - Battle Completed!
Challengers have to fight other challengers (in that same element) in a PvP duel.
Challengers have to organize the battles themselves using forum thread or PM's.
Challengers have
one week to fight each other Challenger. If you skip a specific duel, you will receive zero points for it. If you cannot contact your opponent, after 3-4 days contact PM Scaredgirl.
Deckbuilding rules:
- any amount of cards
- no upgraded cards
- no shards
- at least half of the cards in your deck has to be from the element in question
(if you are challenging the Master of Fire, you need to have 50%+ of Fire cards, pillars included)
- any mark
The battle is "best of five" meaning that the first player to win 3 matches, wins the battle.
Any kind of cheating will result in permanent ban from all Master events, so please play fair.
Challengers will post results on the Trials section (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,112.0.html) of their element. Once all the duels have been fought, points will be awarded accordingly. If there is only one challenger he/she will receive full points automatically.
Masters have already fought each other and completed this part of Trial.
