We have had a lot of special rules tournaments for a while now. We'll be seeing a change in this soon. However, there's no point in hoping for the opportunity to play a specific deck, since a lot of things can throw that off. Tournaments are -all- about adaptability and the meta-game.

They'll be popular, which means it'll be nice to design an anti-deck for that. Also rather easy. They succumb to CC and Black Hole, and some quinted Spirits (for instance) on that will seal the deal. Not to mention Wings. x)

By shrieker rush, I mean with shriekers in your starting deck. Otherwise I call it a grab/antlion rush

This is an infinitesimally small limitation... just saying. Argue with me if you want, but I think for a true cheapskate deck, nothing should cost more than 4. That rules out a LOT of things and makes building it actually challenging. Honestly, the most popular unnupgraded decks don't using much costing more than 6 anyway...
