Thing is, as you told me, you are unable to play against Malignant.

If your players had sent me PMs saying their opponents were inactive, or even just talked to me about it in chat or even post in the thread, ok.

But your team failed to show they were able to play a match within the time limit, so I coin flipped

Then if they are just as at fault, it is your duty as host of this event to follow the rules that you set forth. Even if I'm the one that created the rule, you didn't change it, meaning you agreed to enforce it. Now you aren't.
