New Elemental Weapons Series
We all love the weapons the illustrious Zanzarino has given us with which to beat each other to a pulp... but there's only one per element.  Enter the New Elemental Weapons, a series of cards that just sort of happened as I kept pondering new ideas.  Each weapon idea attempts to stay true to its element, while being fresh and also filling a cool niche.  These cards are as much for coolness as they are for function, but function came first, and I believe these are balanced well.

This series is incomplete.  It meets the forum requirements for a series, but there are still elements that don't have a second weapon.  Maybe when I get done with this, I'll go put my arm around Zanz's shoulder and whisper to him how awesome it would be if he put these in the game... I'll even slip him a little cookie-bribe.

I like these, and maybe it's just me, but spite seems a tad strong...Mono-schrodinger effect anyone? And most shields won't stop it either because it's attack half-decent.

Awesome ideas! and well presented, I do feel that discussion will reveal some unforseen snags in balance though.

I'm a big fan of both the  :time and  :life weapons, as they both give the elements a new feel.  Also, absolutely epic art, johan.

Winter was found via Google, unfortunately I couldn't trace the source, so it'd be hard to be sure it's royalty-free.
Spite, Summer, Cyclone, and Reprisal were made of stock images and edited by me.  Sources of stock images were deviantART stock art and Wikimedia Commons.

just a note, not a lot of cards have their element in their picture, example, voodoo doll, because the pins heads are darkness marks. :) just a help when you make another card series I've seen SO many people do this DON'T make a neutral card, you don't see any series of cards in the game with a neutral card of it, do you? the ONLY example I can think of, at least me being the only one seeing one,  the card is quantum tower, with the exception of 3 quanta, but it would unbalanced without it. and just saying, this would be epic to have a second set of weapons, I thought of it before actually. :)

Nice idea, but why all swords? I know the rare weapons and other weapons offer some variety but from all the RPGs I've played I've gotten tired of swords. Try some axes, spears (cyclone, I'm looking at you), maces, etc. Still whatever floats your boat. Darkness could have a weapon that steals quanta, Gravity perhaps a weapon that deals damage based on the combined health of all creatures on the field divided by 10 (rounded up), and entropy a weapon that deals random damage (from 1 to 10). to give you a few more ideas.
