Duos of Opposing elements as soft PC
The series is a personal brainstorming to generate new ideas for PC. I imposed myself some
rules in order to make it more fun:
  • It as to be a creature with a PC ability of some sort.
  • It has to have an ability of the opposing element (regarding the one of the card).
  • From said 2 elements - the card will be done out of the element with the less creatures.

Can you explain why  :gravity and  :entropy are opposites? I can understand  :aether and  :time, but I personally think that  :aether is unchanging, and therefore contrasts with  :entropy (constant change and chaos), and  :gravity is related to space, and  :time is time?

:gravity = order
:entropy = chaos

:aether = space
:time = time (duh)

Gravity is only associated with space (as in planetary and galaxial matter) because many objects in space have high gravity and mass.

As ddevans96 said, in elements gravity (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22323.0.html) represent order (mainly at a macroscopic scale). As an opposite entropy (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22136.0.html) represent chaos. These two ideas put together made me go toward the limits of the known laws (Einstein's relativity). That why the creature is named singularity. Also, some of the paradox revealed by said theory are sometimes explained by alternate reality, so the ability name ...

Thanks for your whole analysis. Your PM was a bit longer. I just kept here what I didn't comment directly in the card's threads (see Dust Tornado | Dust Twister (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26803.0.html), Singularity | Incongruity (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27049.0.html), Shatterpillar | Caterpillar Nibbler (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26998.0.html) and Lure | Elite Lure (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27047.0.html)).

I decided to drop the two most complicated ideas, namely Shatterpillar | Caterpillar Nibbler together with the cocoons (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26998.0.html) and Lure | Elite Lure together with the decoys (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27047.0.html)). I'll keep the threads alive for anyone wanting to suggest a rework.

Sheut | Ib (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26362.0.html) and Dust Tornado | Dust Twister (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26803.0.html) are already in their respective crucibles but comment are always welcome and some modifications are still possible.

I am still having second thought about the upped version of Redeemer | Zealot (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27040.0.html) but I should submit it to the crucible soon enough (in a version very close to this one). Singularity | Incongruity (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27049.0.html) still needs some thinking but might eventually end up in the crucible too. Don't hesitate to help me finalise it...

Wont it die before its able to use its ability? how about making it 1|1 with a poison encounter on it or something?

Gravity has momentum and entropy has chaos power. So it could survive. However, their is a discussion in the thread about how to balance it vis a vis fractal: have a look (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27049.0.html).
The poison thing doesn't look very appealing to me. It fit thematically neither with the creature idea nor with the elements it uses.
